Trump got the nerve to say the attack on cops was an attack against our country.

But the killing of black people by cops isn't?

Confirming to us all that we are nothing more than second rate. Screw trump and anybody that's supports him. Screw the cops. Screw this government.

Come on man. Chicago alone has black on black killed more blacks than the entire police force of the country has this year.

J/C ..... I am so tired of hearing about "these lives matter"; "no, these lives matter"; "no .....these other lives really matter" ...... my God, they are ALL lives, and are ALL human beings, and they ALL matter. I know that they are all valuable to God, and that God loves each and every one.

A human being has something like 20,000-25,000 genes. Somewhere around 378 of these determine race. 378 genes out of 20,000 to 25,000 total.

Man, we are all human beings. We all have hopes and dreams. We all have aspirations and desires. We all want to live, and be happy. We all love, and are loved by someone. Every life is important. Every life matters.

Yet we fight and argue over a minute percentage of a person's genes. How ridiculous is that? It's like having a war over hair color .... or eye color.

My Lord, my God, Jesus Christ walked this earth some 2000 years ago. He took, as disciples, people of different races, and almost certainly different skin colors. Jesus gave His disciples what is known as The Great Commission, where He commanded them to take the Word into all the world. He did not say "only go here, or there". He did not tell them to exclude anyone for race, gender, skin color, or any other reason.

Jesus never once elevated or diminished a single person because of the color of their skin. We, however, somehow know better than God, and fight over something that is genetically insignificant. How sad that is.

When a black person kills another black person, they go to jail for life.

When a cop kills a black person, he gets paid leave and an award.

Also, cops have been sent to jail for murder. Probably not as many as you think should've been though.

I work with public safety officials on a daily basis, so I have to remain silent on topics like these. There needs to be a change in the culture of police agencies. I have some theories as to why they are the way they are, but I won't post it.

I feel sorry for those that have lost their lives. Not just the cops, but the victims of cop shootings.

Swish this will sound insane right now, but I've seen a slow change in the culture of these agencies. In 15-20 years it WILL be different, but obviously that is waaaaay to long. The turdballs are the result of a systemic issue. A lot of the corrupt and police representatives are retiring or getting fired. You're seeing awful leadership causing this.

I don't know how you feel. It's not my place to tell you. The only thing I can tell you is that certain types of individuals are not being hired like they used to be. If I were to try to place myself in your shoes, I'd be angry. However, I also know that I'm not violent so I personally wouldn't take it to what your suggesting.

I hope you can understand why I can't comment any further. I will 100% admit that I'm biased on this topic because of my own personal experiences and day to day contacts with police officers.

You don't condone killing of people that have done nothing to you! (* Now if you told me those 2 cops in Louisiana who actually shot that guy died, I might understand but it still would be wrong *)

That being said, that dude who shot those cops and others in Dallas was probably having mental issues after leaving the military, never got help and started hating every white person he saw. The media will play up the black vs white angle when it was probably crazy vet mass kills people.

Also, I'm not down with "Black Lives Matter" tactics! (* I might agree with the over-riding theme but tactics, nope) Most of these incidents SHOULD be handled at the local level. What pressure, other than blocking streets are they doing. Put pressure ( not Violence) on those that are condoning violence on you!! Instead of blocking traffic, pressure mayor/police chief, city administrator, whoever to get cops prosecuted if they are found to be in the wrong!

Again, I believe in arming yourself and protecting yourself but shooting people that have done nothing to you is wrong and does not solve your problem!!

And yes, Cops need to start admitting that THEY have a problem within their ranks an root those bad cops out. But then again, who pays the cops.. society does! So if they do not want to do whats right, remove those to cover for them.
