Actually it's more of a reflection on the primary voters. The party and most delegates are simply doing what the voters voted to do. Democracy in action.

They know the malcontents of the dem party are a violent, dangerous lot who don't understand why people profile them and keep their eye on them..They are dumb as stumps ...they somehow think that shooting cops is going to somehow forward their cause....

Melania Trump will speak tonight. I had to do a little research on her because I really know little about her. She's from Slovenia. One of the wikifacts I saw about Slovenia was fascinating:

"Slovenia was the only present-day European nation that was trisected and completely annexed into both Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy during WW II."

Now obviously she is not old enough to have been there in WWII but I have to wonder how much her heritage affects her world views. She is very important to Trump and his children and they all play a big role in what he says/does/thinks... Now I'm not saying she is communist or fascist, rather she was exposed to people who lived that way at a young age.

Trump's campaign is kind of unique in the power his kids seem to have in his run for the White House. This begs the question, what would their roles be in a Trump Presidency?

I'm looking forward to see what she has to say and I hope it's not all puppeted soundbytes about how wonderful Trump is on every count.

Why do you need to ask? Did I say something to make it sound like no? I am talking about the vile scumbags who aren't happy following instructions and getting violent.

The convention opens with a handicap child singing the anthem. Nothing at all against her she is a great singer, but since we have a handicap child as nominee :P, it was just too good to pass up.

I'm watching on PBS as the networks don't start showing the festivities until 9:00pm CST. There is enough wrinkles on this panel to hold a three day rain.

Just seems like an appeal to low information voters from a mother that is obviously very jaded in deep pain. If you find that acceptable at you convention, then that's you opinion. Mine is that it is sad and Trump is using her.

I think she's a crook. And won't be voting for her. The only reason I'm watching this is looking to see what Trump is bringing. So far I see nothing. He doesn't want my vote or people like me... we're libs because we don't grunt when we talk.
