By the way, Vers, didn't you call me out for saying the police should be kept in soft shelled uniforms because it was too dangerous for the police? You want to take back those words since the police stayed safe and kept everyone safe?

My dad was in the army for 20 years.
He's actually really proud of me, as I joined the army for 8.
And we smoke together sometimes after heavy workout sessions.
Should I talk about my mom, too? Maybe my feelings? Go ahead and ask about my childhood.
The bimmer did cause a lot of smoke, yes. Went through 3 sets of tires.

Seems like the classic, "hindsight is 20/20" Yes the police stayed safe and more or less kept the situation under control. It still doesn't mean it was a great call. Like if it was a 50/50 shot that there would be overt violence directed at the police, it would be hard to justify if it indeed happened. Luckily it didn't (and I'm proud of the city that it didn't, just trying to acknowledge the possibilities here).

Except the conversation was how soft shelled gear have shown to promote peaceful protests, while hard shell protection just exacerbates violence. But yeah, evaluating things that happen in the past is hindsight. And I guess if you are correct it's 20 20.

Some say 25 bill, some say way more.
But it isn't just the wall. The wall itself will cost billions. Then you're talking billions to do all the other things he wants to do.
You're talking about an annual cost Just to maintain the wall, one that could easily rival that of the cost you just posted for immigrants being here.
You're doing all this, yet why aren't you offering solutions like I have to actually FIX the immigration problem?

- BUILD THE WALL ..
- use technology and surveillance along with the border patrol ...
- use e-verify and hold employers accountable ... Then the illegals will have no reason to stay .. Get the illegals out of our schools and off our Medicare/Medicaid rolls ..
That will STOP them from coming and GIVE THEM NO REASON TO STAY ...
Is there something I'm missing?
