File Under: EXTREME MEAT SWEATS!!

Here's New England Patriots defensive end Jabaal Sheard lining up in front of a 2 POUND monster steak Tuesday -- in what may have been the most delicious charity challenge of his career.
Sheard hit up Smokey Bones Bar & Fire Grill in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts (about an hour from Gillette Stadium) -- where owners offered to give $4,000 to charity if he could finish the whole thing!

We're told people in the restaurant were so pumped -- several customers added to the pot ... which totaled $5,200!
The good news? SHEARD CRUSHED IT ... devouring the entire Flintston chop in 50 minutes!

For two years Pet and Farmer preached that we only wanted hungry players on this roster. Yet they didn't re-sign Sheard. Hypocrites.

What a piker ...

Nebraska mom eats 9 pounds of meat at Texas steakhouse

Associated Press
05/28/2014

AMARILLO, Texas (AP) -- A Nebraska woman celebrated breaking a Texas steakhouse's speed record for eating a 4½-pound slab of beef by polishing off another one.

The Amarillo Globe-News and the Big Texan Steak Ranch's Twitter page say that competitive eater Molly Schuyler finished her first steak in 4 minutes and 58 seconds. The previous record was 8 minutes and 52 seconds.

The 5-foot-7, 125-pound woman from Bellevue, Nebraska, ate her second 4½-pound steak in 9 minutes and 59 seconds.

The restaurant foots the bill for anyone who can eat one of the steaks, a baked potato, shrimp, a salad and bread roll in under an hour, so Schuyler ate those side dishes as well.

In February, the self-described "bottomless pit" ate 363 chicken wings in 30 minutes in Philadelphia.

Schuyler, 33, is the mother of four and works as a server and bartender at an Applebee's. Her husband is in the Air Force.

She like to eat meat, that's a plus to consider.

Just as long as she's not like the owl in that tootsie pop commercial.

I'm thinking a two pound steak doesn't seem that hard to eat? I think I could do it.

I hate steak, but I could eat two pounds of chicken tenders, fries, ice cream, nachos, cookies

In my 20's I could probably eat the two pound steak and lose weight in the process. These days, it would be a bit more challenging, but I don't think it would be hard at all.

Jaball weighs over 275 lbs, that 2lb was just a warm up for him. Side snack lol. Now, winning it for charity - that rocks! I've always liked that kid, always.

I've done a kilo steak (2.2lbs), with sides chips and a bread roll. Had about 6 pints of Guinness before it also. Good on him but as food challenges go,.....meh wink

I remember one time I was coming home from an Indians game on a Friday night in July. Didn't want to buy any food at the stadium. My house is about 90 mins from Cleveland. But was STARVING.

About midnight I stopped near Ashtabula. Ate an entire large pizza and two foot long subs from Subway (I generally won't even eat one sub in a sitting) ... It's about as much as I'll ever eat in my life

Glad he did it but.... I'm not seeing sides such as a potato, salad or anything else. If that's all it was, I'm disappointed. I've crushed more than that.

Did the Dagwood @ the Ohio Deli, the 2lb gyro at the west side market, Ect...

Yeah, I'm pretty certain I could eat a 2 lb. steak as well. But seeing as how he was a fan favorite here and he did it for charity I thought I'd post it up.

It use to be normal for me to get TWO 24 OZ prime ribs, mashed taters, bread, and a veggie, and wash them down with 12 to 18 beers when we went out to dinner. Man I miss my younger days.
