When my daughter was about 13 or so, I had to take her and a friend to a Michael Bolton concert and act like I actually liked it....I pulled it off....but man...that was a miserable evening....I had to keep reminding myself my daughter was growing up and I wouldn't have many more opportunities like that.
It is a family joke now....she now knows the sacrifices I made that evening
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
You just mentioned anoter one I don't like. Oooooooo and I HATED it when he did that album of the standards ewwwww. I love the standards but when he sings them.
I'm so sorry you had to suffer through that. What a good Dad.
Quote: I bought the Bay City Rolllers Greatest Hits, and I 'm wearing it out.
I got them on Vinyl too. God i'm a nerd. Someone help me.
I got 4 or 5 of their old albums on vinyl, LOL. Dedication, Greatest Hits, Rock n Roll Love Letter, and the one with Summer Love Sensation on it. Talkes me back to when I was 9, 10 or so. I still like a lot of their songs, I must admit.
Quote: Nope you were right . Little River Band is actually cool and one of my favorite bands. Now I am going to be humming ............

Did they also do "Lady let me take a look at you now. You're there on the dance floor making me want somehow. Oh Lady I think it's only fair I should say to you don't keep thinkin' that I don't want you cause Lady I do." ?

I realize not many people really like this song, but I do. I listen to it every Thanksgiving...either at home or they play it on the radio T-giving morning.
Hell, I used to own the Alice's Restaurant album on tape... great song
Quote: We walked in, sat down, Obie came in with the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, sat down. Man came in said, "All rise." We all stood up, and Obie stood up with the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures, and the judge walked in sat down with a seeing eye dog, and he sat down, we sat down. Obie looked at the seeing eye dog, and then at the twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, and looked at the seeing eye dog. And then at twenty seven eight-by-ten colour glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one and began to cry, 'cause Obie came to the realization that it was a typical case of American blind justice, and there wasn't nothing he could do about it
Browns is the Browns
