And the pitch before that one was also a strike. So, it came out right.

Course, you Reds HAD to make interesting first by giving up the Pinch - Hit Home Run... I wasn't home for the whole game...So, why did you take old Homer out so early? Pitch Count I'm assuming?

Yeah he had 114 and was struggling with his command. However it was his first start against a pretty tough lineup.

please chill out....Homer didn't last long? He is a rookie in his first start. He lasted 5 innings, that's plenty. Learn some baseball then talk. In fact, they kept him in too long. 114 pitches is a lot for a guy in his first start.

Command, it's a wonderful thing...Too bad the Tribe won't see any tomorrow with Sowers on the mound.
Trust me, if we had CC, Fausto, and Byrd going for us in this series, we would have swept you guys. Guarnteed.

You're right..
Narron was giving him some extra rope so he could qualify for the win. It was the most excited crowd since opening day without a doubt, just to see Homer get a win. Narron knew that.

I wasn't here for the whole game...I tuned right about the bottom of the 7th or 6th..
You are right, that was a ton of pitches for him though..

Oh, don't worry...there are still two games for you to win. This is why I wouldn't have bet with Saint on this series....but, I guess we are. No way I would bet the Reds to win a game right now.

Sure it was. They showed it 1000 times after the game. It was a strike. As was the pitch before that one called a ball.

When it wasn't a strike. But he called it one anyway, so therefore it is a strike.

Thanks GM, we will take them any way we can get them this year. At least you and BpG aren't a sore losers like most Tribe fans. I was pleased with Homer's first outting, I thought he did well. Hopefully, he is someone we can count on in the future. Just like the Browns, I'm always talking about the future.

You'd be suprised how many people don't know what it is or how it works without looking it up first..

No problem Jules. If we can dish it out then we sure as hell should be able to take it, and as Tribe fans us old timers were use to waiting on next year for a long, long, time.
