I think the idea of a message board is to actually talk about the team rather than waiting to see.

We have done what we did this off season repeatedly we all know how this ends.

I understand not wanting to be driven by that reality but any other outcome is impossible to see given past results this will be NO different.

Will fail because the powers that be can't seem to get their arms around player retention, they like you think they are smarter then the rest of the league is. That's all great and everything but the trouble is their NOT.

Is there a chance yeah slim and none, I'm taking the none because thats how it always goes. Will blow it up or the cry for Vet leadership will be heard as the problem and will do exactly what we did under the prior to regimes and the dawg will continue to chance his tail...

I agree but, it also seems as if many here and the journos "have the answer". Nobody here "has the answer" nor does anybody here know more than those inside the rooms making the decisions and working with the team. Nobody can predict what or where the team will be at. I get frustrated by the so called experts who seem to know and have all the answers yet, they are fans or journalists watching from the outside.

Any a hole can produce the results we have seen for nearly 20 years here. Yeah I know more then these losers do. How could I NOT? When I saw how this current crop handled this off season I knew we were in for more. Your still holding out hope for the hopeless good for you but don't insult me by saying they know more.

Not meant as an insult. I also didn't intend to point anybody in particular out. It is a general observation. Take it however way you want it.

You may have the answer...you may not. I may have the answer....I may not. Any journalist out there writing today may or may not have the answers. It is essentially like a weatherman saying "there is a 50% chance of rain today". In otherwords, they may as well say..."I have no clue. It may or may not happen".

End of story.

I have no idea what you do or what you used to do. However, I will say that I assume you don't know more than NFL coaches. Otherwise you would be in the job or, you would be coaching elsewhere in the NFL. I do agree that the previous regime were a cluster and it makes even the average layman scratch their head as to how they could have received the jobs they did. But, it's much easier to post on a message board saying how one would or should do things than it is to actually do it. Especially when none of us have the full picture.

I did say I was realistic with my expectations but yes, I hold out some hope that maybe the team will over achieve. If I was feeling such negative disgust, anger and discontent then I would question why I devote as much time and energy to it.

So yes, I will pin hope on my optimism and positive outlook panning out. Otherwise, life is already difficult enough and far too short.

I am not trying to change how you think. I just don't like when posters to not discuss things. I can think for myself.........thank you.
