C.C throws a superb game giving up just 3 hits in 9 innings and we cant get 1 damn run across for him.

Pathetic ain't it?

Harang wasn't too shabby himself going 7 striking out 10 while giving up just 3 hits.

Come on Griffey

I dont root for the reds so 'It Just doesnt matter". Lets go Tribe.

Hamilton has a GREAT arm....and it was the throw. That would have scored with most outfielders.

You can't deny it, the ball wasn't hit deep enough to tag...

Yeah, yeah....face it, you just sucked this series...cuz I know we did. Even though we took two games, we could have played better ball.

We sucked this series, you right. CC did everything possible to give us a win, and we didn't do anything to help him. FRUSTRATING!

I understand. That's how we've felt all season. When the bats are on, the pitching sucks. When the pitching is on, the bats suck.

What I don't understand is why we brought Miller up..The guy hasn't pitched in the majors in like a year and a half, and then we bring him on right in the middle of jam?

Wedge had a Wedgie apparently..

My thoughts exactly. Didn't see the game live, but from the box score, it sure seems that Wedge blew it.

In a game like that you send the runner.

Miller was rehabbing in Buffalo and has been very good down there. He is a major league pitcher, that was coming off an injury. Plus, who would you have brought in? Perez wasn't available. You were saving Borowski to get a save if the team ever scored a run. That left Miller (who has been very good vs. RHs in his career), Hernandez or Cabrera. Miller would have easily been my pick in that situation. I think it was the right call, it just didn't work out.

Not with a runner like Jason Michaels. If it was Grady, Barfield, or Rouse running, then yes. But Michaels, no.

You send the runner. It had to be a perfect throw to the plate. Anything less, he would have been safe.

he was safe and replay showed that clearly. Michaels was tagged on the chest clearly after his feet were on the plate. It was a great throw but a horrible job of applying the tag by the catcher. Cincy lucked out on this one.

He was out because he was called out. Plenty of calls went both ways in this series. And the local FSN guys kept complaining about how horrible the ump was all day.

I agree, and afterall a great team such as the Tribe (sarcasm) shouldn't put themselves in position to lose to the lowly Reds because of 1 call.

But in reality he was safe. You can say whatever you want about any other bad calls but this bad call directly effected the outcome of the game. A bad Reds team needed help from the umps to win this series.. they got it.

You can put sarcasm in all you want. We are a much better team than the Reds and out oursekves in a position to win the game. The reds played above their heads to even keep it close and were handed the game by a BS call.

LMAO. You Tribe fans are such sore losing homers. It's hysterical.

What happened to all you guys bragging about a sweep? Oh I know, the umps lost the games for your team. You guys sound just like Bengals fans.

Right on.

And if I were a Reds fan, I would be thankful for that win yesterday, the umps and us gave it to you.

You can be sarcastic about how great we are too. You just need to look at the standings. We are on the top of the toughest division in the AL ,and you guys are at the bottom of a weak NL Central this year.
