The FB is phased out alot of NFL playbooks other than go to goal situations but when Hue was in Cincy he made the FB A regular part of the offense especially in jumbo sets
Which Hue loves to run.
Wanna set a physical mindset on offense?
Run alot of ISO.FB get pad level low and drive that LB out of the hole.
Simple

Hue loved to use Marcel Reece in Oak ... but he has a very rare skillset

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Glad to see that some of you are seeing the light.;) It's like I say, if you want blocking, stick a guard back there.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

Theory is great, but since Hue is going to actually use a FB........we probably should upgrade the position.

While the FB may be getting phased out on many teams there are still many teams whose playbooks feature downhill BOB (back on backer)runs. In this case it helps to understand what your current coach has done in the past to help the speculation on whether or not he'll use a FB. Now whether or not he should use a FB, is something I'm not even gonna try to help you with.

Bucs sign Ishmaa’ily Kitchen

Maybe our old buddy will find a home he can stay at.

Good luck to him ... always played hard

The Titans traded Dorial Green-Beckham to the Eagles for a guy that might not make the team. Green-Beckham was a second round pick last year. I don't think we've even had a guy flame out that quick.

Character issues, just exactly the concerns most us had on him prior to the draft.

Wow.

Does Justin Gilbert count? Johnny Manziel? He went to rehab earlier in his career than DGB was traded in his.

I don't think the phrase "flame out" describes Manziel. Crash, burn and melt maybe? Lol idk, I think even that's putting it too light.

Veikune is the one. All the others were with the team much longer than Green-Beckham and contributed more. Mayle was a fourth round pick.

Gilbert is currently on the team. Manziel made it two years.

I'm just saying length of time on the team. That's it.

Also, Veikune was a much, much worse pick.

DGB put up better numbers last season than Brian Robiski did in his entire career. But yeah, I did stretch it with 3rd and 4th rounders. Guilty tongue

Holy crap! That's true!

Green-Beckham must be a major headcase. Also, Robiskie was truly horrible.

We suck.

some people on here know that one of my good friends is a player for the Titans ... this is his 4th year.

without going into too much detail, he's told me Beckham is literally the worst teammate he's ever had ... major headcase/jerk/etc

Edwards finished his career at Ball State as the school’s all-time leader in career rushing yards

Edwards is a 5-9, 220-pound first-year running back out of Ball State. Originally signed by San Diego in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, he spent time on the practice squads for Atlanta, Jacksonville and Miami last season. He also spent the 2016 offseason with Dolphins before being waived on May 2nd.

Edwards finished his career at Ball State as the school’s all-time leader in career rushing yards (4,558) and TDs (51). A native of Matthews N.C., he attended Butler High School

I think that we had a spot open when we suspended K'Waun Williams.

Thought we released Erle Ladsen a bit ago. Only remember because I thought it was weird that there wasn't a corresponding addition at the time.
