I know a few people are planning on coming in for a day or two of training camp. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in trying to come up with a day when some of us could meet up. It's not going to be a front office type of thing just finding each other at camp and hanging out between sessions. Another thought is we could be it at the the same time as the Browns Backers weekend that way there would a lot of front office sponsored events.
Just trying to get a feel for who'd be interested and when is the best time for most people. I know there's no way we can get a good day for everyone . So wadda ya think?

I'm in as long as it's a weekend.
I work Monday-Friday, and can't afford to take a day off because my vacation time is depeleted from the baby.
But I'll definitely be going up a couple weekends to camp. I made it twice last year and plan to do the same this year.

I know some people do work weekends (I used to be one of them) but I think weekends may be the best bet for most. Especially those who'll be traveling.

I know Ken would want to go, and me as well, and any day is fine with me. We met up with hooper last year on a Tuesday I believe.

Yeah Hooper can usually hit both sessions on Mondays but can at least make the morning session most any other day.
Between sessions there's the option of Damon's or there's a really nice park nearby where some of us have had picnics between sessions. Grills, swimming, bathrooms etc...

They open the last weekend in July so you should be able to get there. The morning session was usually from 8:30 to 10:30 and the afternoon about 3:30 to 5:30. Gates opened about half an hour before in the morning and I think an hour before in the afternoon.

Right now, it looks as if the only day I can't make it is August 3rd.. and Monday mornings are all bad for me as well.

I can make it Monday-Wednesday. Will be there every Monday to do the weekly photo's for my Editor. Hoping to make opening day of TC to get that done as well for my obligations with the paper.  Weekends are out due to the fact I will be taking many weekends during the season for Home games. Boss might get a really bad attitude if I ask for too many weekends this summer. (could make it the weekend of the 28th - class reunion that weekend and I'm off)

It's opened the last weekend in July for the past few years. There are days when there's only one session and though some are listed on the schedule they can change those at any time. A lot depends on the weather too. If there's a threat of lightning they practice indoors which is closed to the public.
Looks like we might anve to do one for the weekday people and one for the weekend people.

I hoping to make it down a couple days for camp, It's almost gonna have to be late July early August, with Fishing tournaments, Nascar week at MIS, & my daughters soccer games, it's always pretty busy time of year. But were hoping to work in a weekend or even a weekday this year. Gotta make it down and tell Joe Thomas he couldnt catch dogfish in a mud puddle....ok maybe not...

LMAO!!!! Clay, I caught a 3.5lb bass on my flyrod the other day. It slammed a diver bug about 3 ft. from shore. Two smaller bass were following it and this brute plowed up from underneath them and inhaled it off the surface.

Love it, nothing better, than seeing a big old bass crash the surface, I went out to the local sportmans club and hit thier pond last night, used a small crayfish plastic on a texas style rig, caught quiet a few, a couple 2-3 pounders, but fun.....

Camp opens July 27th and closes Aug 23rd. Browns Backers Weekend is Aug 3-5. That weekend there will be give aways and special access for Browns Backers members. There will also be large crowds but that's pretty much a given on weekends.
