SAUGET, IL (WCMH) – When a Minor League baseball player in Illinois hit a grand slam on Sunday, the ball went so far out of the park, it hit a pickup truck’s windshield. It turned out, it was his own truck. It happened during the second inning a Gateway Grizzlies game on Sunday. Outfielder Brandom Thomas hit the grand slam, sending the ball sailing over the left field wall and into the truck sitting in the parking lot. After the game, Thomas went out into the parking lot and realized that the vehicle he hit was his own. “Definitely worth it,” he tweeted. link
