I think not having Gomes has definitely changed the chemistry

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Sucks that a decent start from Danny, 10ks, lacks any run support.

Despite the loss, it was a good day for the Featherheads. They're still not hitting, but Salazar went 5-1/3 pretty strong innings. He gave up 2 ER and had 10 K's. I think he only walked 2. That's the pitcher we need for the stretch drive.

Didn't the Tribe get swept in 4 games by MN earlier? Maybe I'm incorrect

Shot across the bow, pathetic tribe fans.

I'm not trying to hear how tv ratings are similar to St Louis, attendance is pathetic.

If you live in 50 mile radius you should have at least been to 1 or 2 games this year. Remember, you are allowed to bring approved snacks and drinks into the stadium.

Come on

Just a quick reality check to all the doom and gloomers:

Yes the Indians are playing poorly right now but they still have the 5th best record in all of baseball. Only a half game away from having te 4th best.

And we now have a 10 game home-stand to try and make more separation in the AL Central.

This is Twilight Zone crazy:

Something's wrong with my ESPN gamecast.

It's showing zero for the Twins in the top of the first.

I'm afraid if I bang my PC it will register 4 runs.

no, Bauer is pitching well, despite some shoddy defense, but our offense is complete garbage, we have had chances tonight but either hit into a double play (we're really good at that) or we have scrubs like Guyer almonte and perez responsible for driving people in. 2 straight good pitching performances turned in by guys that really need the confidence and the bats go cold to let them down.

Not sure where we could get better bats. Such is the challenge of a small market team, and this isn't even taking into account that Napoli is all but gone.

We'll make do with what we can. Let the chips fall where they may.

i pray theres some help come september, They haven't had an off day in 20 some days, so i'm thinking alot of them are just worn down, though baseball is the least physically demanding sport next to golf, its got to be brutal during the summer months with the heat. guys like napoli have just fallen off the earth, we have the worst catchers currently in baseball, and santana is a failure...we got some good hit for average guys, but we are sorely lacking power

There is nothing good in free agency anyway (unless you are willing to overpay old power guys like Bautista or Encarnacion).

Really solid pitching from start to finish yesterday. We've seen Kyrie Irving break ankles on the basketball court, but, man, Miller is breaking dude's ankles on a baseball diamond. He's been downright filthy.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Indians are talking to the Oakland Athletics about acquiring veteran outfielder Coco Crisp. The deal is not expected to be completed Tuesday night, but it would have to be done before Wednesday's deadline to have him eligible for the postseason.

If the Indians acquire the switch-hitting Crisp, look for him to split time with Abraham Almonte. If the Indians make the postseason, Crisp would then replace Almonte, who is ineligible for the postseason because of his 80-game suspension for performance enhancing drugs.

Crisp, 36, made his big league debut with the Indians in 2002. He played four years for the Indians before he was traded to Boston after the 2005 season. Indians manager Terry Francona managed Boston at that time.

He helped the Red Sox win the World Series in 2007.

This season Crisp is hitting .234 (92-for-393) with 11 homers and 47 RBI for the A's has spent the last seven years in Oakland, but recently complained about a lack of playing time. Crisp is making $11 million this year with a a $13 million vesting option for 2017. He recently complained that the A's were intentionally not playing him to prevent him from reaching the option.

The option is based upon games played and plate appearances in 2015 and 2016.

Crisp has just over $2 million left on this year's contract. The Indians would not be expected to give up much for Crisp.

Again, not sure why Tomlin hasn't been DFA yet...he's about as bad of a pitcher i've ever seen

We are way too aggressive on the bases, bad base running

Great comeback win tonight after Tomlin struggled, again.

Outstanding job by Otero and the bullpen. Incredible kick-save catch by McAllister, lucky, but great play.

Let's get the sweep tomorrow with Kluber on the mound.

Go Tribe!

Looking forward to wearing my new shirt up to the game on Friday....

The bullpen really stepped up tonight. We really need to do something about Tomlin, it is ugly.

Love the shirt!

I haven't followed his career the past few years closely enough to tell if this will help substantially or just on a rotation level
