Assuming Dee Milliner is just dealing with a pulled hammy and not something more serious , I think I'd take a flier on him. CB's available are poor and he has the physicality that Gilbert lacked (At least from what I can tell from a quick look through of 3 college games [Mich, ND,UGA])
I don't think he has Gilbert's mentality issues, but has just had bad luck with injuries.
Too bad Tharold Simon appears to not have been cut after all.

there's a very slim chance you see this FO bring in a vet like Sitton or Evans who's on the downside of their career. They don't care about winning this year as much as they care about evaluating/developing/acquiring assets Sitton is younger than JT and greco...he has 3-5 good years left. I wouldn't call that downside of his career.. he was one of the top 5 guards in the league last year..he is better than both bitonio and greco

Milliner has been the league several years now. My bet is that his profile has changed since college. Also, Todd Bowles loves corners and just cut Milliner.

The Denver Broncos are making Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib available via trade for the right price, sources told ESPN's Dianna Russini on Saturday.

This has no relevance to our team because we are not giving up a high draft pick for an older, expensive player. But I am sure there are many contenders who would love to have Talib.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I don't get it. What is that? Some type of skit or something?
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

I'm onboard with Holmes and Reed.
Not sure about Ochi. He reminds me a bit of Mingo. Unfortunately, I don't think he's as good as Mingo in coverage.
Where do you picture Allen playing? I haven't seen much of him.
I like that Day has a nasty attitude, but I'm not sure he has the athleticism for the NFL level.

Never know .... Gaines might too. He was out half of last year and only accrued 8 games service. He qualifies, if he wants to sign on the practice squad, and if the team wants him.

I'd like us to look at FS Ed Reynolds and C/G Eric Kush

Raheem Moore would fit the bill as a vet (who stinks) who could still be cut

Browns could upgrade half their roster via waiver claims.
Take a flyer on the Ravens' Trenton Brooks. He was pretty good at FSU.
How about a real FB for once? Several established vets out there. Same for RB....and WR
God, this roster is awful, but I like the Paea pickup

The more things change the more they stay the same.

Agreed. I would say the D needs the most help right now. It's hard to believe with all the high picks we've had the last 4 years or so we are so devoid of talent.
