Bama looks pretty good lol

USC doesn't

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

That throw by Watson was ridiculous.

Upon further review the throw was only okay. The hit was late and didn't really affect the throw.

I don't think he realized in the moment the defender was ruled down.

I watched the play in slow-mo, #76 was looking at the QB throw the pass and you can see his head following the ball as the camera left him. There's no way he didn't see the defensive player go down. Heck, everyone else on his team stopped.

I think he's GOT to be suspended. Unacceptable.

Called the Houston upset a mile away. They're a very well coached team. Plus the media always tries to prop up a paper tiger. Last year it was the SEC/Oklahoma. They're going to be very exposed next year.

To try to get this topic back on focus of upcoming draft picks to watch. Did you guys see Marquis Haynes against FSU?

Doing it on the right and left side. He was killing it all night. Getting constant pressure.

I'm not sure if he's that good or the FSU O-Line is that bad. There were a lot of people ripping the FSU O-Line on Draft Twitter. I'll keep an eye on Haynes, though, to see if he can keep it up.

The Left Tackle is one of those first round project LTs... Well, until that game. His technique sucks. That's why his feet are all over the place.

Was gonna reply to Kizer comments in the OSU thread, but it didn't really seem like the right place so I'll put it here instead.

I watched the cut up of Kizer against Texas and wasn't super impressed. He does have some really nice throws, but he also had a bunch of poor throws. He moves somewhat like Roethlisberger, but can't shrug guys off anywhere near as well. Not a single one of his throws came with him starting under center. Seemed to stare down his receivers the majority of the time.

Some of the inconsistency could have been from alternating with Zaire. He can't control what Brian Kelly calls, so I can't really hold it against him, but I don't think the offense does him many favors getting ready for the pros. He's only a red-shirt sophomore so manipulating DBs could come with time.

He has potential, but if the Texas game is an indicator of what we'd be getting it'd be a gamble. I'll keep an eye on him, though.

Well this Louisville-Syracuse game is uninspiring.

....Wisconsin, Stanford, NDSU....

You may have a slight point, but it still makes it hard to evaluate some stuff.

And you'd be correct.

However, it's not changing anytime soon.

What do you mean? OSU runs a power spread if that's a team you're referring to.

I'm saying most teams in the NFL run some form of the spread at least part of the time.

Flipping b/w UCF v MIchigan and CMU v Okie State now. I have Pitt/PSU recording.

I've heard good things about the CMU QB and wanna get a look. I like to keep an eye on Mich, too, and Peppers is a player to watch.

PSU stinks. They're so slow. Just bad.

James Connor's story is great. He'd be someone I'd love on the Browns

Cooper Rush looks intriguing to me. Definitely looks better than Randolph to me in this CMU/Okie State game. I want to see Rush at the Senior Bowl. He's definitely working with a speed disadvantage today. He hasn't been perfect, but seems to handle pressure well and has the ins and out of his offense down.
