When will the new Browns kit be out? Do you think I'll be able to get it in the UK?
Thanks in advance.

Kit = Jersey After spending a season on the AV boards I'm now fluent in British. And AC, the Browns don't have a new kit ... it usually stays the same year after year, so go ahead and buy what's out there now.

Thanks for the help guys. I didn't realise that the Browns kit stayed the same season after season. But then again, I'm used to having to buy a new kit every season! There's one thing though, even though you can get the shirt at Villa stores now, you can only buy the away one for some reason so I may buy the home one from the web. Do Browns stores stock Villa tops?

There are usually 3 versions of a jersey...the home the away and a "throwback". The home team for a contest will choose whether they will wear the white jersey or the colored jersey and the visiting team will choose the opposite. In the warmer month the Home team will usually choose the white jersey and forcing the visitors to wear the dark or colored jersey. In the cooler months it will usually switch...the darker colors are usually favored by the home team. The "throwback" is an old uniform design from the past that many like...for the Browns that migh include orange pants if they are honoring the early 1980's teams...they are a fan favorite with the Dk. Brown Jerseys. they wear the throwbacks for I think it is 2 games each year... Jersey designs do change. As last year the Browns had a small design change where the facemasks on the helmets went from white to grey. The stripe patterns became a little different and the went back to straight black shoes. This was all to honor an older traditional style used by the team during some of their best years. Teams change their uniforms often...but they don't change them every year. If they do they are very minor changes. The Browns however are viewed as a VERY Blue Collar Team. They are not meant to be flashy. and we are the only team that I know of that does not have a logo on their helmets. The closest I do know would be a university level team in Alabama...but even they have numbers on the sides. And the Browns Fans take pride in this fashion statement. We basically revel in the fact that our team is just a hard nosed, hard working, no frills type of team. So you will not see major changes in the design of the uniforms even in the future. As stated before, we might change the stripe patterns and sizes...but for the most part, The Cleveland Browns Uniform has changed very little since the inception of the team... if you are interested you can check this link and kind of see a poster that is for sale that shows the uniform in it's progression to it's current design. http://shop.mlb.com/sm-maple-leaf-produc...pi-2528026.html
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...
What's the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????

Pete pretty much nailed this mate. The Browns jerseys stay the same just little tweaks here and there and the occasional Orange 3rd strip. The changing strips every year is a bit more of a soccer thingo, lucrative market but then the Villans will always play in Claret and Blue eh? (poor man's Hammers ) A new kit will come out back home due to change of sponsor on the front of the shirt also.
Unfortunately, Browns gear is hard to come by in the UK due to us being a little unfashionable (expect that to change when we start winning.) You might see some stuff on the Kitbag website but choice will be limited. The Browns store on the official site usually have deals on ex-players shirts if that doesn't bother you. Barring that, ebay is the go.......or just take an empty suitcase when you go and visit and make sure you drop by the Island.

That's one tradition that you are welcome to keep. lol
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.
