That doesn't look good. Cam a bit gimpy and a towel over his head.

It looks like Paxton Lynch could be seeing the field sooner rather than later. Siemian not looking so good.

Andy Lee legitimately kicked a punt like 80 yards

I disagree Grimm, aside from the INTs, I think Siemian looks pretty good for his 1st NFL start.

Yep. Coaching.

Siemian is a freaking 7th round pick.

Aside from the INTs, I'd agree. Accuracy looks good, but decision making has lapsed a few times.

Can someone explain to me on the Panthers last drive how they called hands to the face on the 4th and 21 play to extend the drive? When I watch the replay it looks like both the WR and CB have their hands on each others helmets and it actually looked like the WR was pushing the CBs head backwards whereas the CBs contact with the WR helmet looked more incidental. Why can the WR touch the CBs helmet but not the other way around?

The official that threw the flag didn't have a view of the DB's facemask, and he was the only one responsible for watching that area. Just a possibility based on my recollection of the direction the flag came from.

laugh

Their FG kicker really blew that one. (D'oh!)

I'm glad the Panthers lost. Even though I think Cam Newton is great QB he certainly comes off like an arrogant jerk sometimes. Full of himself, full of pride.

(Do I secretly wish he was our QB though? Yes! But that's another story.)

I really want to like Cam, but he freezes mentally. It happened in the national championship game, super bowl and tonight. It's like his confidence pulls a 180.

1 flag was thrown for these. There's a double standard when it comes to athletes. Bigger dudes are allowed to be murdered.

yea, how many flags would've been thrown if that was Brady?

for whatever reason, guys like Cam and Big ben can't catch a break with the flags.

j/c:

That was a really good game considering it is so early in the season.

I was impressed by the poise and accuracy of Denver's qb. Man, why can't we ever catch a break like that.

I thought Denver's OL look improved.

CJ Anderson was running w/more of a burst than last year.

Carolina's OL and Denver's DL are about as good as there are in the NFL. What a great match-up.

I think Cam has really improved over the years and he is a physical marvel, but he is really up and down emotionally. Great when things are going well, erratic when things get tough.

The one hit on Cam (that was flagged) was downright nasty. And there were a couple more that should have been flagged.

He's turned into a great QB, but I think his demeanor and rollercoaster nature can hurt him (and his team). Sometimes it seems to make things worse.

But, I'd still take him smile

What's crazy is that Siemian showed poised again arguably the best LB corp in the league.

against a top 5 defense, and a top 5 front 7.

he isn't gonna see competition like that every week. So if he managed to not screw it up week 1, imagine the growth this kid is gonna show when he actually gets 100% comfortable running the O.

man.....a freaking 7th round pick.

how unlucky can the Browns get?

There's no doubt that Elway is a GREAT executive/coach. Simien looked like a vet for most of the game. He's been well coached in a short amount of time.

All he needs to do is NOT lose it for them.

The AFC west is the most interesting one in the AFC I think. Oakland should be improved. KC should be very good on both sides of the ball. Denver will always be solid.

What an awesome game to start the regular season off. I dozed off in the 4th which from what I hear, was an intense quarter.
