Bermans tie looks like it was repurposed from a couch from the 60's.

"Chippy and undisciplined. That's not what Jeff Fisher teams are known for." That's exactly what they're known for Steve.
He's also advocating QBs not sliding. Must not remember how his career ended prematurely.
If this isn't evidence of CTE I don't know what is.

Is it possible that Steve Young is worse than Berman?
No. It is not. But he is still pretty bad.

Well, goff will be playing earlier in the season than expected.

Props to Jeff Fisher. There's no way the Rams will finish 8-8 this season. Just like he predicted!

Well, we don't have the most embarrassing opener anymore. So....there's that.

Looks like I blew the first pick by picking Gurley in a fantasy draft. Luckily I did get Hyde, too.

All I can say is that there is no worse pairing that Chris Berman and Steve Young. They manage to take every ounce of enjoyment out of watching a football game. Bleh!

how about a year when the browns potentially could be 0-16 (2-14 tops) and the steelers are a legit top 3 team
oh wait, we're used to it Yes, we are. The Steelers look really good again. Hot damn.

Something to keep in mind about Pittsburgh, zero sacks last night and their secondary got torched.

j/c: A few thoughts: --People say that they love us accumulating draft picks, and then say that Ben, Brady, and Wentz would be ruined if they played in Cleveland. Draft picks are nice, but you have to establish a winning culture to succeed in football and losing double-digit games each year is debilitating. --The Steelers had 2 of their top 3 WRs out, a brand new TE, and were playing w/out perhaps the best all-purpose RB in the NFL and they have guys that stepped right in and performed magnificently. But yeah, they're gonna suck this year. --San Fran's defense pitched a shutout last night. Their DC is Jim O'Neil. You know, the same Jim O'Neil who many of you said was the worst DC in all of football. Wonder when people will understand the talent thing? --The Rams' offense is beyond terrible, though. Man, they are painful to watch. --I thought the Ram defense was pretty good. Losing two excellent corners, Long, and Laurinaitis might be more harmful than some would have guessed.

So they pay Norman all this money, but they stuck a different CB on Antonio Brown?
Lol okay Washington.

Did you watch the game?
The Steelers played a loose, deep zone almost all night. They didn't blitz. They kept the ball in front of them and made tackles. They did not respect Washington's running game. I thought it was a brilliant game plan and it threw Washington off balance.

Lol okay Washington. It kind of felt like they didn't want Norman to get exposed and be ridiculed for the contract.

So did Norman only play one side of the field in Carolina? Honest question.

If I was Daniel Snyder I would have called down to the sidelines after the first TD pass to Brown and told Gruden if Norman did not cover Brown on one more play he would be fired before the next snap .. Or u damm well BETTER PUT A SAFETY ASSIGNED TO BROWN and nothing or no one else ..
Better yet .. I would have told him to call over and talk to the Stilers DC and ask him what he would do ... Have the PRO-BOWL CB follow the best receiver in football around or have the PRO BOWL corner defending a rookie or 2nd year guy while a BUM tries to cover the best WR in football ..
The Stiler DC knew he was way understaffed in the secondary so he played a soft zone to keep everything underneath .. Meanwhile .. WOW is how bad the DC and Gruden were for Washington ..

Yes.
Ooooppps. I misread your question.
I don't know about Carolina. I think he played on the left side most of the time, but I am not really sure.

So did Norman only play one side of the field in Carolina? Honest question. I think so. But Carolina's defensive scheme is different from Washingtons. Gruden made the comment last night that having josh Norman shadow Brown in that kind of defense would cause issues in the secondary. Maybe their scheme calls for Norman to just lock down one side of the field.

I hear you, bro. However, it isn't about just moving Norman. You then have to move other guys. They are out of their comfort zone.
I'm not saying I totally agree w/it, but there are plenty of teams that do the same thing Washington does. They put the elite corner on an island on his side and then roll their coverage towards the weaker guy.
Let's face it............the Steelers have the best passing game in the entire NFL and they also have two outstanding RBs. Their offense is elite.

So that seems to support that he did not just play one side in Carolina. Which would make sense against teams like the Giants and Broncos where he seemed to be matched up with Beckham and Thomas the entire game. Which would make sense why's he's worth a big contract.
It makes last night seem even more odd.

Ya know, like the announcers were pointing out last night. *LOL* .. That's so funny and so IGNORANT ... And is NOT TRUE either .. Maybe u oughta WATCH more games instead of believing everything u hear on TV .. Sherman plays one side of the field MOST OF THE TIME not ALL the time .. He has followed more than one WR around the filed since 15 ... WATCH just don't regurgitate what someone else says .. AND .. Just as IMPORTANT .. Washington plays man to man ... When Seattle kept Sherman on one side of the filed they played a COVER 3 .. Witch is a ZONE .. If u need me to explain to U why that's relevant .. Let me know .. I'll get u link .. Maybe .. *L* .. WOW ... Sometimes it's best to just say NUTTIN .. PROUD TO BE A DEPLORABLE!!!!!!

Ummmm....what? Sherman mostly plays one side of the field.
That's like....well known around the league. The rest of your stuff is confusing. Dunno what 'deplorable' has to do with football talk but ok.
