RG III had some moments but will not have Josh Gordon to throw to.

I just don't see how we can stop anyone on defense. A mediocre Wentz should beat us by at least 10 points.

I saw nothing in the game against the Eagles that suggests we can win THIS game.

I think that we score a little more with McCown at QB. Barnidge will get going a bit because of his chemistry with McCown but only after we go down by two scores.

The Ravens will run for over 130 yards and we won't crack 80.

Browns 16

I do think it will be good to see Barnidge as part of the offense again w/McCown.

Not that anyone believes me.

Or that anyone cares.

Or that the laws of Statistics do not apply to the Cleveland Browns.

But a 6 ½ underdawg wins ~ 30% of the time.

In fairness, Barnidge DID have a shot at being involved in the offense in our first game.

And if he drops the first 2 balls thrown his way, you have to wonder what McCown will do, don't you?

Yes, but he wasn't he only one dropping passes. I saw him open several times and RGIII did not get him the ball.

In fact, take a look at the play RGIII was hurt on. If he wouldn't have panicked, he could have dropped the ball of to Barndidge and we might not be having this discussion.

Don't really care. Saving money by not going and not buying anything from the Browns. I win. LOL

Browns CBs are not good. The team can not establish the run.

Ravens WRs have speed, the Browns lack speed.

A record will be set, however...

In Week 2 the Browns will become the first team in NFL history to use multiple starting QB's in 15 straight seasons, per Elias.

he's about right IMO

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I just read that, "Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco has a 13-2 career record vs. the Browns." -Yikes!

Odds are against us. Plus we just aren't that good of a team. I'm gonna pick the Ravens to win this. I hope I'm wrong.

Flacco loves playing in cleveland. We helped him get his huge contract

Weather could affect scoring:

20-10 Ravens.

And how many of those changes were made due to injury? Some stats you just have to ignore. If rg3 were healthy, he'd still be starting.

Ravens by alot. Our offense looks to much like Buffalo. That's sad.

Bold predictions: Browns to upset Ravens in gritty win

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...s-in-gritty-win

Browns right the ship sooner than expected vs. Ravens

Coach Hue Jackson and the Browns are coming off a rough week. Fried in the opener by Carson Wentz, the quarterback they bypassed in the draft, Cleveland's team-building strategy has been openly questioned. Members of the media are talking about an 0-16 finish with no chance to compete for years to come. This won't be a fun season for Browns fans, but I see no downgrade from Robert Griffin III to Josh McCown, the backup passer who played adequately over eight starts for Cleveland last season. The Browns are littered with young players on both sides of the ball, but I'm calling for a strange, gritty team win over the Ravens led by 2.5 sacks and a key late-game turnover from promising rookie Carl Nassib.

If this doesn't happen, fellow NFL Media correspondent Chris Wesseling will wear an authentic Webster Slaughter jersey over his work clothing for the entire month of October. -- Marc Sessler

I'm torn on this one. The defense last week did some things I found encouraging. I thought we got fairly decent pressure with the 4 man front, the young guys played with enthusiasm and didn't seem lost, I think it was obvious that Horton made some good adjustments, and although we didn't have a high sack total, Wentz took a number of pretty big hits, and I felt we were respectable vs. the run. It seems like forever since we haven't allowed a RB to have a career day.

Offensively, I think there were 2 things that bothered me the most: the play calling and RG3's inability to rally the team after the safety. Yes it was a big change in momentum, but your QB of all players has to be the one who isn't brought down by it, and he was.

This week with McCown I think we'll have the leadership component that was missing, but with McCown it comes at a cost. He's his most reckless when he's trying to be the hero and put the game on his shoulders a la getting his head ripped off at the goal line, or I think it was the Cardinals game where he was just getting killed play after play and Pet wouldn't bring him out despite obviously being in pain. 7yrs in law enforcement and I've seen some grizzly things, but nothing has made me want to look away in horror as much as it did when I watched that game. It was like watching McCown star in his own snuff film on live TV.

I think we have a chance to win this game, but our CB's are likely to let us down again this week. I just don't know if our offense can compensate enough for them.

That said I'll go with a Browns win.

Must Win game (week 2 and already at that point). Home opener, division rival, starting QB out...we need to restore faith and energize the locker room. Will it happen? Hmmm...who knows. But, we do tend to play Baltimore tough. I am hopeful for a close one.

23 - 20....gotta go with the Browns.
