It's family day in Bowling Green, so I'll be sitting in the rain watching the Falcons play Middle Tennesee State and race like hell to make it home in time to watch the Buckeyes.

I've heard nothing but good things about Ali's daughter. She was on gameday and she was a class act. I'm rooting for Louisville.

Whew! I talked the family into staying home....it's really coming down out there with no signs of letting up.

Holy North Dakota State! They have a real chance here to beat #13 Iowa.

Unreal.

That hurts the Big 10 though.

Michigan down 21-7. They'll still win, but not pretty right now for big 10

Michigan is going to get beat by 30 if they don't get themselves together. Offense can't do anything and the defense is getting gashed. No pass rush and open over the middle everytime.

Watching the Colorado/Michigan game to watch Peppers. Seeing Awuzie (CB for CU) for the first time, who's pretty impressive too.

Peppers is a very dynamic player. Looks like he has a higher gear than everyone else. I'll be looking at Garrett later. (Recording the A&M game while I watch THE OSU.)

Great day of football:

--Loved seeing Louisville blow out Fl. St. Lamar Jackson might have wrapped up the Heisman. LOL

--Terrible loss for the Big 10 when Iowa went down.

--However, Nebraska, Sparty, and the Buckeyes more than made up for it. The Neb. game was exciting.

--Alabama? Ehhhhhh.........not as impressed by them as all the journalists and "experts" are.

--It won't shake out like this this week, but here is my top 4:

1. Louisville
2. Ohio State
3. Alabama
4. Clemson

Alabama just isn't physically imposing like previous years teams. They faced a really soft USC team week 1. Ole Miss was their first challenge and they damn near blew it.

And Ole Miss was missing some of their better defensive players. It was the same Ole Miss team that got handled by FSU.

I like our chances against 'Bama.

I like Damien Harris, but he's not a game changer. I also like Bo Scarbrough, but he's more of an athlete than a runningback.

I don't see a Derrick Henry, Mark Ingram, or Eddie Lacy. Maybe a TJ Yeldon.

I recorded the A&M game, too, and I'm watching it now. Garrett gets the sack on the first play. He is very quick/explosive. And shows a mix of technique and pass rush refinement.

I still really like him, but I find myself wondering (questioning is too strong) about his motor/love of the game a little bit. There's been a lot of Curtis Martin coverage, and in it they talk about how he didn't love the game, but he loved what it could do for him. I get a little bit of that vibe from Myles. It's not necessarily a terrible thing, but it's something I'll keep an eye on.

He's pretty consistent on his energy at the snap through out games, but he seems to more jog to the ball than fly to the ball after that burst. Other teams running away from him may play into that a little bit. I'm not sure if he's conserving energy or what, but it's something I noticed.
