Ameer Abdullah vs. IND Michael Floyd vs. NE Carlos Hyde vs. LA Stefon Diggs vs. TEN Jeremy Langford vs. HOU
Pick two for an RB and a W/R slot.
NFL.com standard scoring (I think, no PPR for sure)
Right now I'm leaning Hyde and Abdullah.
Was gonna play Floyd, but think the Patriots D might be amped up trying to carry Jimmy G.
Shaun Hill downgrades Diggs for me. Chicago's banged up O-Line drops Langford.
I expect SF vs LA to be relatively low scoring so don't think either team will need to pass a lot to catch up. Hoping Loss of Little Animal is felt in the Rams run D.
I don't expect Indy's D to be very good this year, and Ameer was getting more touches once Jim Bob Cooter took the reins for DET's O.

Was thinking the same. Already switched them once and then switched them back.
Mathews had decent Points last week, but that was including some garbage time touches and a garbage time TD.
Sanu is an inigma for me, never lit it up in Cincy, but looks to be a solid 2 and Julio is nursing an injury. I picked up ATL's TE and stashed him on my bench. He saw a lot of targets last week. ATL for the first week passed the ball a lot.

depends on if it's a PPR league

I'm kind of torn on the Sanu/Matthews debate.
On the one hand, Shanahan tended to feed most of his targets to his number one receiver, and Julio Jones was a full participant in practice today (was Sanu banged up? he was mentioned as a full participant, also) That may have been an effect of his number twos not being particularly good in the past.
On the other hand, Keanu Neal is still hurt and their pass rush hasn't been what they hoped it would be. As an Amari Cooper owner, I'm hoping Atlanta has to put up a lot of points. I'd be a little worried about the potential Kahlil Mack vs. Jake Matthews matchup, though.
I think Philly is going to try to run Matthews more with Wentz in his first away game. Ertz not practicing plays into that a little bit. Chicago did keep Lamar Miller pretty bottled up though.
With the .5 PPR, I'd probably lean Sanu.

I don't know if any of you play daily fantasy [not one person replied to my thread about it....LOL] or if you have Jordan Matthews on your team, but I think he is a good play this week. Ertz is almost assuredly out of the game and Wentz will rely on J. Matthews against a weak Bear defense.

I own Matthews and I hope you're right. I do know he was a great play against us last week lol

Do you have Celek, too? He might get more opportunities w/Ertz out. I am saying this because a TE is one of a young QBs best friends.

PPR league ... at Flex, I have to choose between Golden Tate vs Tenn, Jordan Matthews vs Chicago, or Justin Forsett vs Browns. I was leaning towards Matthews, but not sure I trust Wentz. I'm also thinking, unfortunately, that Forsett might have a big game against us. (I hate starting guys against the Browns, because I always end up feeling conflicted.)

I'd go Matthews if it's PPR. Ertz is looking to be out for Philly and He and Matthews were Wentz's favorite targets, so should be more looks for Jordan. Plus, Fuller is banged up for Chicago.
Forsett is tempting, but I thought our run D looked good most of the game, and the Ravens RB situation was strange this offseason. They might try to get West touches in his "revenge" game. I'm more worried about Wallace than the running game.

I replaced Golden Tate with J Matthews, but also decided to switch out Ryan Mathews for J Forsett. I don't quite share your view on our rush D - we give up the edge way too easy. Plus I read that Forsett has averaged 6.1 YPC and 123.6 yards rushing per game over the last 3 games vs the Browns, against arguably better Browns Defenses.

Barner gashed us a couple times for runs in the teens, but we kept Ryan Matthews to 3 or less a lot more than I'm used to seeing the past few seasons. We didn't allow a run over 20 yards either.
I'm not saying the run D was great, but they were a lot better than I expected.
I'd probably play Forsett against the Browns over Ryan Matthews, too. I didn't know Ryan Matthews had been a choice. Thought we were just talking PPR Flex. It's still close for me between Forsett and R. Matthews, though. West got more touches than Forsett against the Bills (Forsett did get more snaps).
We're likely to regress against the run as has been our tendency, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Shelton looked pretty good against Kelce, and he's (Kelce) better than Zuttah.
edit: Urschel (starting G for Ravens) is inactive. That might swing me to R. Matthews over Forsett.

Right now I'm going with Diggs vs. GB over Doug Baldwin at LA and M. Floyd v. TB in my WR slot.
Wilson's ankle sprain worries me a little bit, and the Rams probably won't make the Seahawks need to score a lot.
M. Floyd vs. TB is closer as I think they might need to score more, but Arizona has a lot of weapons to spread the ball to.
I think the Vikes are going to need points, and Diggs seems to be their top option. The QB situation is a bit unsettling.
Thoughts?
I'm also playing Hyde at my W/R. The Carolina D worries me, but he's the only thing the 49ers have to hang their hats on.
I also have Langford in addition to the sitting WRs for that spot.
I've got Gurley and Abdullah going in my RB spots.

I don't like Floyd due to the reasons you mentioned.
The Diggs/Baldwin is tough. I have both of them, albeit in two different daily leagues.
Seattle's OL is terrible and Wilson is injured, but Baldwin is a TD maker. Diggs is Minni's go-to guy, but their passing game could struggle this week.
Tough call.

If it were in SEA, I'd have gone Baldwin. Think the LA crowd might still show up, maybe. Was definitely a close call.

Looks like I made the right decision with Diggs, but the rest of my team played so poorly it didn't matter.
Jameis Winston at home versus the Rams after the egg he laid last week or Stafford on the road in Green Bay that needs a win?

My opinion is Winston is becomming a play every week type player.
Even his bad week he put up decent fantasy numbers.

I thought he was an every weeker when I drafted him, too.

Picked up Tannehill. Don't feel good about it, but if Haden's out I don't see how he doesn't score points.

I hate having Doug Baldwin on my bench.
I've got Pryor, Amari Cooper, and Diggs in.
Tempted to play Baldwin over Cooper, but the Jets front against the Seahawks line and a relatively immobile Russ Wilson worries me.

With Cam possibly out I needed anot her QB.
So I picked up Wentz.
Take that sports gods..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Question
I have Hunter Henry And Julius Thomas as my TE's
Ladarius Green is scheduled to come back. Would you drop one of these two for him? And whom would you drop?
Another possibility is my taxi squad, if I did that I would have to drop WR Chris Hogan.

I probably would not drop either TE, and certainly not Thomas.
I like Hogan, too. He should be the Pats main deep threat moving forward.

Thanks, I pretty much had that same thought process and picked up Hogan at the beginning of the season for that reason.
I have a very solid WR core with D. Hop, AJ Green, A. Cooper, Michael Thomas and Hogan (D Hop/AJ/Cooper were my keepers this year).
I know Henry has a lot of talent, and Rivers loves his TE's. Green is coming off injury, and my mind keeps thinking he could get plenty of opportunities in that offense and so much attention to Brown. If all that happens it could be a good trade piece.
