“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
not sure if he could play with some sort of cast or not, but this is poor luck ... once again
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."
I'd say most, ir not all, of us are most intrigued by Nassib since training camp ... dang

how many players can we bring back from IR in a year?
1 right? if that's the case... who will we bring back?
You have to designate which player you want to bring back, which we did with Griffin.
I believe they changed the rule this year. I recall reading that the team can bring 1 player back off of IR, but that they don't have to designate that player until the actually bring him back.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
John 14:19 Jesus said: Because I live, you also will live.

It sounded like Hue Jackson was walking back his "trust me" comment about Kessler. Today he was trying to say he was talking about the entire team and not just Kessler.
At some point you just have to shake your head. What else can possibly go wrong? Oh, I know, Coleman pulls his hammy next week in Miami, hence both players acquired with picks from Eagles are out.
If Wentz lights it up tonight C-Town will be criticized until Wentz has a bad game.
I once had the pleasure to meet Dough Atkins at a local event. He was from Tennessee. One of the best defensive line players ever. He makes all sorts of all-time starting line-ups. The guy was a beast.
I noticed two things about his hands when we shook hands. First, they were the biggest hands I have ever seen of felt. They were like bear paws. Some basketball players might have longer fingers, but this guys hands were massive. Each of his fingers were like two of a normal persons.
I also noticed his fingers had been broken many times. They weren't exactly straight. I don't think he took time off for a broken hand.
A little history for the younger dawgs...Doug was as good as it gets....he played before sacks was a stat...many say he sacked 20-25 a year, in a non passing era...
If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
Oh....the Browns drafted him #1 in 53. The word is he got in to Paul Browns doghouse because he belched in a meeting. Brown traded him to Chicago in 55.
Paul was a great coach, but that is one he blew. Atkins was one of the all-time players. You have legends, then the guys legends talk about. Doug was one of those legends talk about.

Right now, he looks like the real deal.
If a few of the Browns players drafted turn out to be the real deal and we get our QB next year, both sides will have won and the fact that we passed on Wentz will be forgotten.
If the Browns "Browns" it up again, we will be reminded of it for as long as Wentz is in the NFL and playing reasonably well... and the better he plays, the more we will be reminded about it.
