Its like the universe wants to squash all chance of having fun watching this team. All we get to watch is some backup scrubs? Pffft. Number one draft pick here we come!

it will have to be an endangered species if we want it to actually work.

Find the Browns fan in your life and give them a hug Print 0 By Dan Hanzus End Around Writer Published: Sept. 21, 2016 at 08:34 p.m. Updated: Sept. 21, 2016 at 08:53 p.m. Just quit it. You've made your point, Football Gods. We get it. You hate the Browns. Frankly, we're in overkill territory now. We've been there for some time, in fact. But now it's just getting ridiculous. Here's a quick recap of the last 15 days in Cleveland: » Carson Wentz beats Browns » RGIII hurts shoulder, goes to IR » Josh McCown hurts shoulder, confronts football mortality » Carson Wentz beats Bears, positions self as OROY favorite » Big Ben (who was passed on by the Browns) says he's surprised Browns passed on Carson Wentz » Josh Gordon arrest warrant issued » Corey Coleman breaks hand in practice None of that is made up. All that bad stuff happened to the Browns. There was more stuff, too, like promising third-round pick Carl Nassib breaking his hand, Cameron Erving being raced to a hospital with a bruised lung and, oh yeah, the Browns blowing a 20-point lead in a loss to the Ravens, the two-time Super Bowl champion franchise who used to be the Browns. This has gone too far. Remember when Ed Norton pulverized Jared Leto's face in Fight Club and when Brad Pitt asked Norton why he did it, he replied, "I felt like destroying something beautiful"? That's pretty much what's happening now, only the Browns weren't attractive before the latest savage beating. Even Jared Leto in Fight Club has it better than the Browns, and that dude had his face punched off. Colleague and Browns fan Conor Orr put it well when he posited that the Football Gods "might have gone over the edge" with the Coleman injury. Minutes earlier, Marc Sessler, another colleague and Browns fan, adopted an understandably nihilistic world view. So probably, it's a 6-8 week recovery? Or 8-10 weeks?
It's not like this injury puts us out of contention for the division. We're in full tank mode anyway (#Tank4<InsertQBNameHere>).

i mean damn bro, what do we have to do to break the curse? bring back animal sacrifices? I think the Stadium and Berea both need an exorcism. I used to live in this house back in Erie, PA. One of my roommates pointed out these wax crosses just beneath the pain on the top of all the door frames. She said that at some point the house had been exorcised. I didn't think a whole lot about it until months later when the landlord replaced the front door and frame. Then I started hearing all sorts of foot steps and movement, but only in the living room. Every other room still had the cross. No joke. Interesting. My father lived in Erie, PA when he was a kid, he told me his house was haunted. The tea kettle would whistle and it would be ice cold, he saw a dress levitate, stuff like that. He told me this when I was a little kid. Back then? It scared the you-know-what outta me.

coreycolemanThe past few hours have been real tough for me.Making it to the NFL was a dream that many didn't think I could accomplish. That road was full of many tough times. Breaking my hand in practice today was tough. But thankfully tough times don't last, tough people do. I. Will. Be. Back. https://www.instagram.com/p/BKo-AhUDnZ9/

One of the key elements this year was to have all our young and new guys play so that they would be better by seasons end and become a TEAM. Obviously, that can't happen with them on the bench hurt.

Smdh.Murphy's law strikes the browns yet again.how can all this even be real and were only 2 weeks into the regular season.
At this rate were going to have to start playing iron man football and have players playing on both sides of the ball headed into the bye week

So what you're saying is....we have to exorcise Art Modell.
cause at this point, i dunno who else it could possibly be. Actually, yes, I think I am saying that exact thing. 1) On a Saturday night beneath a full moon at the stroke of midnight, Browns fans need to surround First Energy Stadium Hands Across America style and hold a seance. We need to entreat the spirit of Paul Brown to return to Cleveland. And if we can, see if we can sign the ghost of Otto Graham. 2) If there are any parts of First Energy that came from Cleveland Municipal, it needs to be removed and put in to Canton in a place of honor. Be it a brick, corner stone, or steel beam. It's either that OR we bring parts of Old Muni back and incorporate them in to the building. I don't think it's a coincidence that we haven't been a legit playoff contender since we got rid of the community trough urinals in the men's rooms. (I heard Marty was against getting rid of them and that's the real reasons he got canned). 3) Jimmy needs to expand the brain trust to include the Bishop of the Cleveland Diocese. This team needs to get right with Jesus.

From someone who had a loved one commit suicide that way we don't need that pic IMO... I know it's hyperbole but still doesn't not need it...
Hope the kid heals quickly.. We should see him back on the field this year

What really sucks is he was just starting to get it. All this experience he is going to miss.....
Nassib too..... every snap this year could be gold next season.... at least that is the hope.....
On top of that meathead is a deadbeat dad and he just couldn't be bothered to show up to court on multiple occasions. Warrant.... How completely stupid is this guy? Yes, court is never mandatory. Just don't show up if you're not "feeling" it. LMAO

I actually think we could go 0-16. Yet for some reason I'm not all that bummed about it. First pick in the draft is a nice thing when you need a QB. I have liked Hue Jacksoons attitude through all of this. He just takes it in stride and goes back to work. Given some time and the right players...... IF Haslam can be trusted to stay the course for a while then 0-16 isn't much worse than 2-14 or whatever pitiful record we would have ended with before all the injuries. Of course trusting Haslam to understand it might take a while and that the draft is where we will win or lose for some time is a BIG FAT "IF".

LMAO FYI.. the warrant was rescinded. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/17603...-paternity-case Even if it hadn't been, I don't think this is something the league would have gotten involved in as it isn't a criminal matter. Paternity tests are a civil issue, not a criminal one. This kind of warrant for his "arrest" isn't what people think typically. Around my parts it would be called a "show cause order". Basically in a civil case, or if you are a witness in a criminal case, if you don't come to court but your presence is deemed necessary, a judge can issue the order that says your butt has to be picked up and be brought to court. Had this "warrant" been served it's not something that he would have spent time in jail for. It's not a criminal offense.

#Browns WR Corey Coleman saw a hand specialist today, source said. No surgery. Expected to return in 4-6 weeks. https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/778944877186932736This seems like the best case scenario considering the situation.

Pryor is the man. Then Higgins, Hawk and Payton have to step up. This will be their time to show what they can do. When Gordon comes back one of them will be cut (presumably Payton is the odd man out as he hasn't played much).
Do we still have Boyce on the squad?
