Disappointed Jacoby Brissett looks great. He's a kid I wanted instead of Kessler in to the 3rd or 4th round.

and for the patriots: And the Beat Goes On

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

it's amazing what good coaching, a consistent program, and tough/smart players will do

Ostweiler certainly doesn't look worthy of the ridiculous contract Houston signed him on.

So did the Browns.

Almost as if Belichek knew.

Hue couldn't wait to draft the QB with the weakest arm in the Draft.
if you were a QB coming out of the draft and played In the South and had
running ability with a rocket arm...hmmm. Hue wasn't intrested

Either the Texans are worse than I thought...or the Pats are way better than I thought they would be.

They are going to wipe out the Texans with their 3rd string QB.

Prob be 4-0 when they finally get Brady and Gronk back.

Amazing.

It's the Texans first road game. The Offense looks out of synch.

The whole team looks like they don't practice.

Defense is making a 3rd string rookie look like a world beater...ST can't return a kick without a fumble.....Offense greatly unprepared.

They look horrible

The Texans do look bad, but I don't think Brissett looks all that great.

He got the benefit of two short fields off of fumbles on returns, and another turnover on the Collins pick. Pass Interference calls gave him seemingly a dozen tries from the 1 after he missed multiple times. He had the touchdown run, but he was unaccounted for and there were Browns level tackling attempts. He could be good, but he's still got work to do. I give a lot of the credit to NE's OL coach. They are controlling time of possession.

Down to their 3rd string QB and the Pats don't miss a beat. Unbelievable.

Belichik is just incredible.

Apparently Weeden has been spreading the "Play Like a Brown" philosophy in Houston.

Yeah, this was more about the Texans special teams, the Pats D, Osweiler and Blount. The media will try selling that the Pats 3rd string QB is a diamond in the rough, but I don't think he did all that much.

Houston's offense was a disgrace ... and what the heck happened to their great DL? NE's OL is supposed to be their weakness

I don't get it. He never impressed me at all in what I saw of him (two College Games last year). Personally, the UConn QB who transferred from NCState looked better last year (and this year). My main man Bryant Sherrifs.

It seems like anyone the Pats stick in there, it just seems to work. Bellicheck is very good at designing a gameplan I guess.

I really didn't realize just how bad Houston was. What an incredibly one sided game that led to boredom extremely quickly.

Wow Texans, you guys gotta get it together. And yeah, as Dawgs said - Jaball looked monstrous out there!

no doubt about it. Jacksonville, Houston, Tennessee, and Indianapolis is the WORST division by far. we can play with all 4

He completed just over half his passes, for just over 100 yards, and he ran 8 times for 48 yards. He was a cog, but not the engine. The only thing he did was not screw things up.

When your defense doesn't allow them to cross midfield except for one time in the 4th quarter and creates 3 turnovers giving the offense the ball on the 22 twice and the 43 once and turns them over on downs 3 times in the 4th quarter and has a RB that runs 24 times for 104 yards.. you or I could have won that game easily... just don't screw it up.

Wentz looks good but how would he look here I think Kessler did ok, besides we weren't ready to draft our Franchise QB just yet, we need to much elsewhere, look at Coleman I believe he would have helped us win today if he could of played, finally a good #1 pick ... JMHO

He just broke Tom Brady's record of most consecutive pass attempts as a rook without an INT

Oh, and Phil Dawson just kicked a FG...
