I certainly hope it's our Brownies, but I'm gonna have to pick the Redskins to win. ....It would be great if we won this though. You know?

Browns win. y'all thought pryor had a monster game last week, he's going off again.
he's gonna get close to 200 yards receiving, if he doesn't go over it.
Cody might just go off, because the skins d line isn't anywhere near what the dolphins is.
i'm looking for our defense to pull another two INT day.
browns win 31-17

Browns win.
It will be interesting to see what we do with Pryor. Last week was a total surprise and there was no way the Dolphins could have prepared for that. Now there is a weeks worth of tape for the Redskins to look at how we used him. They will have a chance to at least prepare to stop it.
If we play like we did last week only cut out the stupid freaking drive killing penalties, we have a very good chance to win.

I thought we would beat Philly. Then, I thought we would beat Baltimore. I had no opinion on the Miami game due to all the unknowns.
This week, I think Washington handles us. So, I guess that means we actually have a good shot at winning.

I'm a little worried about our defense against this group of WR's. I think we take another L.

Redskins will be prepared for Pryor now
Skins 24 Browns 17
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I'm calling it now - we win in a game that will be a slugfest most of the afternoon, but we pull away late and leave them in the dust.
Browns is the Browns

I won't pick a score but I see us getting our 1st W, we could have easily been 3-1 after this one if it weren't for PENALTIES and HORRIBLE KICKING ... JMHO

This game has all the makings of where the expectations beforehand are high, and then we end up losing decidedly. I've seen this dog and pony show before.

I see this as a game for us to continue to mature and maybe just maybe we win.

Skins 27-13.
Not sure if our 13 is two TDs with a missed extra point, or 1 TD with our kicker going 2 for 5 on FGs.

I see this as another close loss as well. 24 - 31 Skins with 2 more shanked FGs by Parkey.

Redskins win and that is fine. Every loss gets us closer to the #1 pick. Every live snap is a learning experience for the kids.....

Before yesterday, I was confident we could win..
Now, after the Gordon issue, I just picture "Browns crazy week ends with blowout loss.." or whatever headline someone cooks up..
Such is the life.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

I don't think losing is ever fine. The Browns have had high picks for years. Where has that gotten us?
We had the second overall pick last year and ended up w/a WR who can't stay healthy while a true franchise qb is flourishing w/the team we traded with.
Draft picks are important, but too many on here value them more than establishing a winning culture.
Players are not going to "buy into" the plan forever. There needs to be modicum of success.

Agreed, and that will come. Success may be sporadic but it will build as the required "talent" is added through FA and the Draft, and we gain experience...

All about coaching. I've seen enough to jump all in on the Hue Jackson band wagon (I was before to be fair).... we've seen growing pains, we've seen some coaching mistakes during games, we've seen horrible calls go against us .... we had (something like) 14 rookies on the active roster? .... and we played with enough passion and grit to be in contention to win 2 games .... I want to say "we should have won 2 games" but that term of speech seems to get used by whiners and losers. So I look for Hue and the team to take another giant step forward and put away the Redskins. As someone noted - they have some fast WR's that can and probably will burn us - but Cousins is not playing with confidence, and Horton despite his many detractors on this board, has quietly put together a defense that (IMO) has outperformed any possible expectation anyone on this board had. So many exciting things to watch for in this game, not the least of which is the progress and development of Kessler. I have very little expectation of him being the solution at QB. But never say never, and he did well for a rookie thrown into a starting role last week. Funny how he had similar (or better) stats to Dak Prescot's first start and Went'z first start ... Siemien too???? And yet he got very little love .... and all the others were lauded as the second coming. Realistically I'm not expecting more from Kessler - but I am hoping that Hue finds a way to shock us and the Redskins!!
The more things change the more they stay the same.

As long as Colt McCoy doesn't get into the game we have a chance. If McCoy gets in; forget it, its over. That guy is good.
