Uh.

He's holding the ball.

What are they fighting over. And how do they have possesion of it?

What's strange is that nobody even seemed to make a big deal of it.

The Browns got Browns'd again on that one.

There's another angle that showed the ball coming out while running. It's a shot in the front.

I'm not saying he didn't lose the ball.

But unless there are two balls on the field, they didn't recover it.

Because he got up very quickly and had it in his hand.

It was a fumble.. I'm more concerned about the Phantom 2 pass interference calls

I agree he fumbled it, but he quickly gets up and is holding the ball. Meanwhile, the refs are watching two guys fight over a phantom football.

If so I'd think our sideline would have been more animated.

You can't challenge it. It was reviewed and the call stood. If you watch the video you can clearly see Duke standing there with the ball in his hand over his head while the ref is looking at the pile and calling it Redskins ball.

The ball was never in the pile. Redskins were on the bottom, but the ball wasn't there.

There was no clear recovery because the replay crew was looking in the wrong place.

Yep, I don't think people are bothering to watch the video in the link.

Hate to say it, but it's because the female side judge called it Skins ball right away, and the replay was inconclusive.

To be clear, she didn't get the call wrong because she's female, but the sideline didn't want to show her up because she was female.

how is it not conclusive? it's in Duke's hands away from the pile. watch the last 3 seconds and focus on Duke's hands

I'm willing to bet that they were focused on the pile and never noticed Duke. What a terrible call.

Go back and watch the stupid play.. Yes .. He fumbles the ball and immediately stands up with the ball above his head while the refs continue looking on the ground at two guys that never had the ball

It was a fumble recovered by Duke.

....This is the weirdest thing. What was everybody on the ground fighting for then? I thought the ball was down there too, the announcers didn't say squat and in the game day thread I thought they were saying he didn't fumble? He did, recovered it and then the next thing I know we're on defense...... Wow! willynilly notallthere saywhat

HUH ... When u watch that it's not clear how the dude from the Skins could have gotten it .. We'll find out as if Duke did recover it ... It'll come out ..

And the dude that posted it .. Said he NEVER LOST THE BALL .. He clearly lost it ...

When they showed the other angle during the game it looked like Duke got it also .. I said to myself .. Huh ... How'd dude from the Skins get it ..

Will be interesting to see what comes out this week ..

that's very strange

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

seems we got screwed

I bet the refs didn't want to question the female and open that can of worms
