Lots of rumblings about # Browns playing a 2017 or 2018 game in London; NFL may make it a home game as well but team prefers to be visitor

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

obviously if we're the visitor I wouldn't care ... sucks to lose a home game

if you are below 0.500, it should automatically be an away game.

What did the British do to us to deserve this?

Is this payback for Brexit?

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

Especially with F1 in Asia this time of year. I can't even enjoy a race before the game? Forget that. But didn't we get some money for the stadium from the NFL and now have to be part of this? I thought that's what we heard during the summer.

If you get a chance to go to London to see the Browns play -- do it. It's quite the experience.

Agreed, EveDawg!

This would ruin even more of my Sunday. Think Londonizing the NFL is kinda dumb.

Home - Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Tennessee, AFC East (Miami?)

Away - Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Houston, AFC West (San Diego?)

I could see it being our home game against Tennessee (I don't think they've played there have they?)

I'd probably fly to London to watch it. That would be a fun experience.

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

I do 1 or 2 away games per year (this year is Tenn). If we play in London that will most certainly be my away game for the season I hope they do it!

If it's a "home game," what happens to the regular season ticket holders who can't afford the cost to travel to London and/or can't take time off of work?

Do they get a refund? Is the ticket price for one game removed from the cost of the season package? Or, do they get stiffed?

This would be awesome - have always wanted to travel to Cleveland from the UK to watch and will do at some point but this would be nearly as good. Went to see Dolphins-Jets last year and that was OK but lost interest late on and went to the bar laugh

If it is a home game only 9 games are paid for instead of 10.

Cleveland vs Tenn isn't exactly a great attraction for the blokes in London.

Thankfully I'm usually up early and don't sleep in mega late. It would be a decision to either set an alarm to watch another loss, DVR it and watch the loss later or just pickup with it whenever you wake up and miss all the action prior to that.

But I'll be up.

haha, except that's the type of game they typically get.

Jags basically have a ticket there every year
