I'd give them a 90% chance to be 3-0

The QB for Arkansas is getting murdered by Alabama front 7

Probably true. Just kinda shocked to see some of these defenseless SEC games as of late.

Oregon is getting throttled at home by Washington. 42-14.
Washington's QB is young but man he has the tools.

Is he a sophomore? I was impressed w/him last week.

What about his arm strength? Poise in the pocket? Accuracy?

I would appreciate any information that a local can provide.

Jake Browning just threw his 5th TD this game.

Sophomore. 6'2" 209. He's shown pose when I've seen him play. The Ducks can't generate pressure so tonight is not a huge test. He does scan the field well from what I can see. The kid can make all the throws. He's not Flacco but he's got better than average velocity I'd say. This last TD he threw was with so much touch to the back of the end zone. One handed catch where only his man had a chance. He's thrown for a 70% completion rate this season. With a 9.6 yard per pass average. The accuracy is there.
I'd look for him to be a high pick in the 2018 draft if he chooses to leave.

Another note. Browning seems decisive. It looks like he's processing information at a good clip. I've watched Josh Rosen a fair amount this and last year. Josh doesn't seem as quick to pull the trigger.

Wow, Kaaya has a beautiful pass for a TD on 4th down, and the extra point is blocked. shocked Wow, what an ending this is setting up.

My god is Rutgers bad. Just an embarrassing loss. First 1st down? 8 mins left in the FOURTH quarter

When your starting QB goes 6/13 for 100 yards and 1 TD.

And the backup comes in at halftime and only throws 2 passes..

And you lose by 78? Wow.

My top 4:

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Washington

A&M and Michigan are just on the outside. Alabama and Ohio State are almost 1a and 1b. Clemson is in a good spot, kinda flying under the radar. Washington is quite impressive. I don't think they lose in the PAC-12.

Stanford was overrated big time. MSU as well. Notre Dame is just pitiful right now.

Houston is a good team, but ran into that buzzsaw that is Navy and that offense. It's the same one Ohio State ran into some years ago when Navy nearly beat them in the shoe. They may not have the horses, but if you don't prepare well enough to defend that, it can quickly trap you into a miserable 60 minutes of your guys chasing chickens around.

It really seems like the Big 12 is going to get left out of the final four as this thing begins to separate itself.

Alabama/SEC winner is in.
Big Ten winner is in.
ACC winner is likely in.
Washington is in if they win out.

Obviously any of these can change if the stars align, but this seems like the most likely situation at this point.

I understand Peppers is a defensive player.

But if I'm an NFL team, I'm looking at him as an Offensive player.

Call him a RB if you want, I don't care, but at this level, I think his best impact, would be with the ball in his hands.

Alabama
Clemson
Ohio State
Michigan
Washington

Those 5 teams in the driver's seat right now ... unfortunately OSU has to play Michigan

I would kill to get Peppers, but I don't think he'll be on the board by our second first round pick.

well, it's unfortunate if we'd lose. Put it this way, if we didn't play them we'd be a lock for sure regardless

On the one hand, this is good for the BIG 10. On the other, what does this say about the quality of QBs in college football?

Armstrong, Speights, and some guy whose name I don't even remember are the QBs of top 10 teams?

Why couldn't it be a Luck/Newton type of year when the Browns are likely to have the top pick?

Looks like we'll have to hope for the Bronco's route and go great D with game manager at QB. Can we find the DBs, though?

In Andrew Luck final year at Stanford, they went 11-2, didn't play in the Pacific 12 title game, and lost to Brandon Weeden in a bowl game, finishing ranked 7th.

Just for comparison.

Yeah, the quality of team is down this season IMO. The Big 12 and Pac 12 are not strong at all ... and the SEC/ACC are very top heavy

They’re goin’ crazy in Kalamazoo this week.

What’s in Kalamazoo you ask?

Why the Western Michigan University Broncos.

Who have broken the AP Top-25 for the first time in school history. (#24).

The Broncos played (and lost badly) to Ohio State and Michigan State last year. Good move on the Athletic Director’s part. Playing tougher, better competition makes the team better.
