hmm...does he even survive the entire game?

24/35 320, 2 TD's, 1 pick, 1 fumble loss, 35 yards rushing.

Survive the game? yes.

He ain't playing ... He's going to be in to much pain ... It's tough to throw with a sore/tight chest ..

IMO were rolling the dice on Cody or Josh being good enough to start this week ... But that there really thinking that Hogan will start this week with Pryor as the back up .... With the hope being that Cody or Josh are ready for next week ...

That's PURE SPEC on my part ... I don't think L there's any way they really know how health Cody will be by Sunday ... And with him .. He needs some practice reps .. Does he need two days worth or one day worth? ...

Nana ,,,, Hogan will get the start IMO ..

I have a feeling McCown will be starting ... not sure why I think that

If not him, then Hogan

I think Cody will sit one week

It's called optimism.

If Cody throws the ball more than 30 times we lose. If we run the ball for 150 or better, we have a chance.

So I'm going to predict... 19 for 28, 232 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.

I'm not a QB guru, nor am I well educated on the ins and outs of football and the strategies involved.

I will say this however, when Cody has been healthy he to me looks the part. He has good awareness of the pocket and seems to find the right man to throw the ball to.

I can see that he lacks the confidence to throw the deep ball, or that deep seam route, but won't that come with more experience?

When I have seen him have the time, and confidence that the line will protect him, he seems like he is NFL capable. Am I wrong?

OK, looks like he will play.

Tenn stacks the box against us to take away our only threat.

18 completions 40 attempts. 198 yards. 0 TDs, 2 INTs. 3 sacks. 4 rushes for 15 yards.

I don't like it but CapCity's predictions look likely to me.

The only thing I might consider adjusting is the interceptions.

I suspect the Browns will call pass plays with the lowest interception percentages. Maybe only one interception.

Is this the game we lose two QBs? I'm going with yes, two injured QBs.

Lebeau has always feasted on the rookie QB but this is a similar scheme as to what Cody faces in practice each day. I also dont like the spacing with the Titans secondary and there is some big holes for a good route runner.

Could be a really good game for Higgins and Hawkins, especially if the Titans shift their D more towards Pryor.

I believe we win this week 35 to 24 and Cody puts up 320 with 4 TDS and 0 ints.

I really don't see how he can be effective if he indeed has a sternum/rib injury. That bruising is very painful and takes forever to heal. You can't immobilize it or rest it because you have to breathe. It's also not a really safe spot to inject.

Cody flirts with 400 yrds passing, a total of 17yards rushing for 3 first downs, 3 TD's, and 1 reception for 22yrds (The ball hits a defender's helmet and comes back to him. It almost looks like a statue of liberty play as he catches it on the run).

He does something to make the Top 10 on ESPN.

LOL I would be willing to bet just about anything that he doesn't go 0 for 0 with 10 INT, since that would be impossible.

I've been traveling so much with work that I haven't been able to pay much attention to the Browns outside of game results. I'm stoked we promoted Kevin Hogan - he was someone I pimped quite a but during the draft. I think he's going to be a solid player in the NFL. He has some mechanics issues, but was super solid at Stanford as a whole.

I love your signature. I've got Andre Rison, Jeff Garcia, and Brady Quinn jerseys. I vowed to never buy another jersey with a players name on it. Except of course the Joe THOMAS jersey he signed for me at his first training camp and it's under glass.

lol thanks! There's no hyperbole in it either. All of those things happened the very next season after I got them. I'm just glad no one paid money for my Manziel jersey. I won that in a sports bar raffle that was rigged. I was the only Browns fan that went in there to watch games.

I've flirted with the idea of getting a jersey and putting my name on it, but considering my history, I'm afraid what will happen to me! ooo
