I picked 4-12 ..... but that might be optimistic. I could see this team with only 2 or 3 wins this season.

I voted 4-12, I think we'll start out slow as we have too many young players and a bunch of new starters but I see us getting better as the guys develop plus we won 3 games last year and think Hue is a better coach then Pett.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

I said 5-11.
I have no logic or reasoning behind it.

I'm sticking with 0-32, including next year. Waiting to be convinced otherwise.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I think that might be right, but I picked four wins. The more wins I pick the better I feel, but? This season might be really rough. I guess if I had a gun to my head I'd pick 3 wins? But I just don't know.

I guess I look at the schedule and place % chance we win each game (as of right now obviously)
at Philadelphia (50%) Baltimore (40%) at Miami (30%) at Washington (35%) New England (5%) at Tennessee (40%) at Cincinnati (20%) NY Jets (50%) Dallas (35%) at Baltimore (35%) Pittsburgh (10%) NY Giants (40%) Cincinnati (40%) at Buffalo (40%) San Diego (60%) at Pittsburgh (5%)

You think we have a better chance to beat SD than Tennesee?

You think we have a better chance to beat SD than Tennesee? Yeah, SD has an AWFUL win percentage when traveling to the eastern time zone. Plus, it's the end of the year with not much to play for (should be snowing for the team from Cali) Tennessee will be an away game with a QB who should be improved and a D that should as well with a year under Labeau Close call though

Aside from like the NHL or the March Madness, I don't really like to do predictions.
But it's hard to see this team winning more than 4 or 5 games. There's just nothing this team can hang their hat on yet. Maybe it's good coaching? That remains to be seen. We all like Hue a lot (I wanted him when Pettine was fired), but we still need to actually see it. This offense seems like it could be improved from the last few years, but defensively, I still feel like we aren't going to stop the run, and we literally do not have anyone in the front 7 who scares an opposing offensive coordinator.
I understand that Rome wasn't built in a day, and in a full rebuild like we are doing, you won't fill every need in the first offseason.
If Ogbah turns out to be a pro bowler, that's one thing, but I really hope in all the "we need a QB" talk, which is a fair, and legitimate argument, that we can find a stud for this front 7.
More than anything, I just want to see this team playing well in December. I don't care for the record this year, because it's being treated as a throwaway, but this team needs to be trending upward when December rolls around.
You can look at the Browns record since the 2007 10-win season, and it's bad, but take a look at their December record. I understand we are always out of it by December, but this is the NFL and it's not an excuse for no-showing in games.
I want to feel good about this team when we enter the 2017 offseason.

I admit that the idea of getting both DeShaun Watson and Myles Garrett kind of makes the idea of being the worst, or 2nd worst team in the NFL seem all worthwhile.

Having only 1 year to go by makes it hard to say for sure, but it seems like this front office values a QB high in the draft only if they truly value him. In other words, they aren't going to (hopefully) take a Tim Couch just because he's available. I think that there are going to be a few really good QB in this draft. I think that we could have our pick of the litter. After QB, it seems like our front office values play-makers with game breaking ability, such as a superior WR ... and pass rushers. So, if we draft 1-2. and there is a QB we really like, and a pass rusher or truly game breaking WR we really like, i bet that those will be our 1st 2 picks. We will trade down, if it makes sense to do so .... but I have a hard time seeing them pass up the chance to add All Pro type talent, if they have the opportunity to do so. I could see us moving around in the 2nd though.

I think you are giving us a significantly less chance to win those games than you have listed.

The Cleveland Browns have zero chance to win the Super Bowl this year, based on research from ESPN's analytics group. Zero. That's zero as in zip, zilch, nada, none. There is no chance the Browns will win the Super Bowl. If ever there was a "That's So Browns" moment, this might be it. One would think merely lining up would give a team a one percent chance. Maybe even two. But the Browns chances don't even register. Cleveland Browns: 2016 Season Here's a week-by-week look at the Browns' chances of winning this season. Week Opponent FPI Win Pct. 1 at Eagles 25 2 Ravens 41 3 at Dolphins 23 4 at Redskins 24 5 Patriots 28 6 at Titans 30 7 at Bengals 14 8 Jets 44 9 Cowboys 43 10 at Ravens 17 11 Steelers 33 12 Giants 46 13 Bye 14 Bengals 40 15 at Bills 18 16 Chargers 53 17 at Steelers 13 Source: ESPN Stats & Information Their chance to make Super Bowl is less than one-tenth of 1 percent. But take heart, there is a one-tenth of a percent chance the Browns make the AFC Championship Game. So, there's that. All this research comes from work done by the analytics folks who work for ESPN. Their work doesn't guarantee that's what will happen. But ESPN analytics and ProFootballFocus.com both took a look at the Browns, and the results were ... well ... shall we say ... not exactly great. Here's the rundown on the 2016 Browns from ESPN analytics. It states that ... The Browns have a 1.9 percent chance to make the playoffs. And a 0 percent chance to win the Super Bowl. The Browns' offense is projected to be 32nd and last in the NFL. The defense, for some reason, is ranked 26th. Special teams are 31st. And the Browns are given a .7 percent chance to win the AFC North. Conversely, they have a 24.7 percent chance to land the top pick in the 2017 draft (Hoo hoo!), a 64.8 percent chance to have a top five pick and an 84.2 percent chance for top 10. How did ESPN's analytics group come up with a zero percent chance? It ran 10,000 different simulations for the season, and not once did the Browns wind up winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Which technically means the Browns start the season 0-for-10,000. That's not to say the Browns would come up with zero if 1,000,000 simulations were run; the odds would favor it happening once in a million times, even if randomly. It just means that in the study conducted by ESPN analytics, the number was a big, fat zero. ESPN analytics also figures something called the Football Power Index (FPI). It's a complex measurement based on many tangibles and intangibles, and is described here. What could be most interesting is the preseason baseline for determining FPI is the win total from Las Vegas. By way of explanation, the analytics folks report that "the expected win totals and money lines for each team are an accurate representation of predicted team strength and provide a strong baseline for teams entering the season." Numerous other factors are then considered, with the final number showing how far above or below average a team is headed into the season. The top-rated NFL teams are Seattle (4.9) and New England (4.8). The Browns? You guessed it. Minus-7.2 and dead last. The 31st ranked team, San Francisco, is minus-4.8, quite a difference between 31st and 32nd. The Browns are projected to win an average of 4.9 games, and there is a 21 percent chance they win three or fewer games. The games the Browns have the best chance to win: the Ravens (Week 2), Jets, Giants, Bengals (Week 14), Cowboys (surprisingly) and Chargers. ProFootballFocus.com also did a complete Browns rundown here. (Note: It was posted before weekend roster moves.) A couple of highlights: The team's running backs are ranked 20th in the league, the offensive line 21st. The quarterbacks are ranked lower. Let the season begin. http://www.espn.com/blog/cleveland-brown...per-bowl-as-nil

realistically, we have a chance against Baltimore at home, San Diego at home, at Tennessee, at Buffalo, and NY Jets at home.
Let's say we win half of those ... that's 2-14 TOPS

I'd say that we have no chance at all against Baltimore, Buffalo, or Tennessee.
Heck, we got lucky in beating Tennessee last year and they've improved and we've gotten worse.
I don't know enough about San Diego to judge, but by all accounts I've seen, they are literally our only hope.
We have definitely got to be the odds-on favorite to own the #1 Overall pick in 2017's draft.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

The only good thing about Baltimore is their offense isn't that dynamic. Not that many playmakers (wallace, aiken, forsett, smith) .. at least compared to other teams we'll play

Yes, I think we could set a record for starting QBs this year, what is our current record? 5? Didn't we start 5 different QBs that one year when we finished with Gradkowski? As of now, we are on pace for 16 different starting QBs.
Keep the streak alive.
