Now that's just not true.
Kessler has improved a great deal. The run defense, especially right up the middle has improved a great deal. We had run the ball well, until our 5th or 6th reshuffling of the OL. Young teams take time to gel. Young teams who are constantly hit with injuries really struggle.

I get what your saying, but Kessler improve compared to what Brady Quinn, The D is just plain bad, slow and weak, TP is the only value on this roster, and all team have injuries look at Minn so that doesn't fly anymore. this play is no different than Pettine, Romeo, Shurmer. Kessler holds the ball and thats why he a sitting duck every play , tape a post it note to his helmet saying get rid of it. I mean I close game vs Tenn is not a reason for hope. Cody takes way too many shots he will be back on IR in a week, love his desire but he need to be smart, McCown does the same thing

In this morass of losing I'm on the Kessler bandwagon. Which means I'm on the Hue bandwagon by association. Pryor is awesome. We need a few good players every draft to make this work. Sadly we've found a dearth in recent years.

I like Cody too but he is too reckless with the shots he takes, he will be a frequent visitor to the IR or Concuss protocol

I couldn't see the game because it wasn't on TV in Columbus, but is it really him taking shots or is it our offensive that just sucks.

Anyone who watched the game and has a brain could see the Offensive line was almost illegal in their negligence.

been more inconsistent that I expected..some really good plays and series and then about 1 -2x per game, a real head-scratcher or 2....

Just getting rid of the 'cute' plays would help a bit

My point is we have had 3 qb on IR due to getting jacked up

I think losing a pro bowl C and a really good RT may have hurt but what do I know. Paztor is a OG for me and my limited knowledge. Reiter played really well at C before he was hurt. I think we need OT help for progression (Joe is superman but can't play for ever) and to provide consistency. Plus - can we run the ball please?

The o line was terrible, but Cody was also off target a lot.

Irving....man I don't know if we should put him at a different position, but he isn't cutting it at center

Why not? Kessler's center literally falls down trying to block. His RT leads the NFL in false starts. It wasn't his fault.

I don't see him in the NCAA either. If I think he's serviceable I draft other needs.

Cody was off a bit, but I chalk that up to a few things, most notably not being 100%

I just think you got that it factor or not, I don't remember too many QB's being molded into a Franchise QB, I think Cody can be good even a tick above average but not elite
