While I have to cheer for Canada's lone MLB team, can't ignore the awesomeness of that Andrew Miller cat. Dude is just a wrecking ball.
Games have been tight pitching duels but Jays need to find their offense as that's really their strength.

This is just sick! Bill Kurelic ‏@Bill_Kurelic Andrew Miller: 52 batters faced in postseason, four hits, 25 strikeouts. No runs. Indians have not trailed in last 42 innings of postseason

Cubs are a team of destiny. I think they'll win it. Too good.

I saw an interesting stat about Tomlin on a Blue Jays blog of all places: Throw out the month of August, and Tomlin is 18-5 with a 3.14 ERA.

I read in the PD that Bauer had 10 stitches in his little finger. That's a lot of stitches - he must have gashed it pretty good. Any ex-pitchers here to talk about how that might affect him? It can't help.

The Cubs finish yesterday was fantastic... Would love to the see the Cubs vs Indians... That way at least one fan base who has waited forever for a World Series championship would get one... I pray it's us but wouldn't mind the cubbies going one

I think that's what the typical sports fans want to see ... cubs/indians is a big ratings draw

I do get a bit tired of hearing about the long-suffering Chicago sports fan. I get it that Cubs' fans have waited a long time, but in the meantime Chicago teams have won championships 25 times since the last Cubs WS win.
Bulls - 6 Blackhawks - 5 White Sox - 3 Cubs - 2 Bears - 10 (Chicago) Cardinals (1947) - 1
We had zip, zero, stugatz since 1964, until the Cavs won this year.

I think Gomes just start Monday , Perez is good D catcher but his bat is auto out at this point, we won't have these 2 to 1 or 2 to 0 games in Toronto, Nap needs to wake up from his nap another auto out.

Somehow we need to start hitting, I can't see us advancing too far batting .182 for the series, think about this, we have 10 hits in the series, all by just 3 players, the rest are hitless, eventually Toronto is going to start scoring and if by some miracle we beat toronto by not hitting, won't fly against either NL team. Batting .182 at home doesn't bode well with two games in toronto. I have faith Tito will make the right changes.

In all fairness to the Tribe’s offensive struggles the first two Toronto games.
Estrada finished the year 4th in fewest hits per nine innings
And,
Besides winning 20 games, Happ had a 3.18 ERA for the year.
The Tribe just beat some heavy weight pitchers.
Amazing.

And the Tribe hasn't faced arguably their best pitcher yet - Aaron Sanchez. (finished the year 15-2 with a 3.00 ERA)
Still a tough road ahead.

Evidently Salazar threw a simulated game. Could be ready by the WS if we make it.

Tonight's the night we need 5+ runs. Gotta continue to keep Encarnacion and Bautista in check. Both are pushing. Keep guys off base when they are up is key.
I want Chicago. Even though LA is warmer and they been doing alot of cross country traveling, Chicago is batting like .170 through the first 7 innings in 3 games. 12 runs through 7, and 13 through 8,9+. That sets us up for Wipe-Out Miller and Allen.
Win it in 6 or 7 AT HOME!

The betting-line for tonight’s Indians’ game reads Toronto -190 Cleveland +175 Because there’s so few points in baseball (compared to football and basketball), the betting-lines are expressed in dollars. What the above line means is, If you want to take Toronto to win you have to wager $190 to win $100. If you take the Tribe to win, you bet $100 to make $175. What that all means is that in Vegas the Tribe is a pretty big underdog in tonight’s game. I think about a 2-to-1 underdog (1 out of 3 chance to win).

Tonight is a big game momentum wise. I'm hoping Toronto doesn't bust out offensively, whether they win or lose.

Tonight is a big game momentum wise. I'm hoping Toronto doesn't bust out offensively, whether they win or lose. Expecting a loss tonite, Umps will give a ton of so called border pitches to Blue jay hitters and squeeze us hitting and pitching, their crowd will give them a lift and if they get a lead Miller is a non factor. But Tuesday I can see Clevenger pitching lights out its been that kind of year where we get these wow moments from unsung players, ( Perez ) Boston Tomlin (game 2 ) as long as we get one in Canada we come home 3/2. with Klubber game 5 I like those odds
