did you notice that Hillary stuck around after the debate?
Trump immediately left. was he sick? why was his eyes so red? i hope he isn't sick. it's a real concern guys. if he doesn't have the stamina for this, voters should take that into consideration. why did he leave so early?
:)))))
He had a dinner date with a beautiful woman.
Hillary was still waiting for her Alpo bowl to be filled.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

He certainly didn't look like someone who had just won a debate:

And people wonder why Trump supporters are so derided. . .
his campaign manager was already playing damage control not even 2 minutes after the debate on Fox News.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
aaaaannnd women are absolutely trashing Trump all over social media over "such a nasty woman".
This guy just can not get out of his own way.

b-b-but Donald Trump sounded like he had the sniffles at the first debate! (where he was amazingly given a faulty mic.. just saying)
was your boy doing lines like he was Rick James before the debate.
on October 20th, 2016....ya know, yesterday?
apparently the joke flew over your head. i was just making a play on everybody talking about their health. looking for literally anything to blast her over.

Damn donald, unlike posters on this board, you was doing way more than reaching, huh?

You're using examples of red eyes and perhaps some sniffling to imply health problems.
I posted a video of Hillary collapsing a little over a month ago at the 9/11 memorial.
Tell me again who is looking for literally anything to blast someone over their health. I was actually content to let the whole issue die; Hillary has held up well over the last month and that does give me some relief on that issue.
Election Day will be a swift death for your boy. Don't even worry about a recount. It won't be necessary. We don't want to make this painful for you.
Perhaps ted nugent will run in 2020.

Is anyone else bored of talking about this election and the candidates? Let's be real-- we've all made up our minds by now. Most of us have probably spent a lot of time reading and debating various issues since we've made up our minds.
Unless something big comes up between now and November 8th, what's the point? Or maybe the better way to put it is, until something big comes up...
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
we already know Hillary is winning this election. time to talk about everything after inauguration day.

this will be a long post so if you don't feel like reading, TL;DR, republicans suck at following their own advice.
_______
while i have zero sympathy for Trump supporters for when this landslide election victory for Hillary smacks them in the face, i do have empathy for the conservative base, in general.
They let their anger and emotion take over to the point that they had two very good candidates, yet chose Trump out of protest.
Fortunately for the rest of America, we saw earlier what happened when people automatically assume that something won't pass because of fear and anger: Brexit.
We won't be making that mistake. So i thank the people of England for being the shining example of why it's important to show up to the polls even if you think somebody or some policy should be a shoe-in.
My hope for the GOP, if there's even a such party left standing after this election, is to actually listen to their report on the 2012 election.
Republicans have lost the popular vote in five of the last six presidential elections. States in which our presidential candidates used to win, such as New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, Iowa, Ohio, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Florida, are increasingly voting Democratic. We are losing in too many places.
___________________
5 of the last 6. ouch. that's a problem.
so, what do they think?
Public perception of the Party is at record lows. Young voters are increasingly rolling their eyes at what the Party represents, and many minorities wrongly think that Republicans do not like them or want them in the country. When someone rolls their eyes at us, they are not likely to open their ears to us.
____________
and i think that's partially correct. Do republicans dislike minorities? in general, no. but they aren't exactly inviting us to join them in droves.
they say this:
Instead of driving around in circles on an ideological cul-de-sac, we need a Party whose brand of conservatism invites and inspires new people to visit us. We need to remain America’s conservative alternative to big-government, redistribution-to-extremes liberalism, while building a route into our Party that a non-traditional Republican will want to travel. Our standard should not be universal purity; it should be a more welcoming conservatism.
______________
ya know, this is really true. i mean you guys have more Republican governor's than the Dems do. in other than train wreck states like Kansas, Louisiana, and a couple others, situations are ok in general. I really like what Kasich is doing here in Ohio, in general. But he's appealing to both sides, not just conservatives.
the GOP says this:
If we believe our policies are the best ones to improve the lives of the American people, all the American people, our candidates and office holders need to do a better job talking in normal, people-oriented terms and we need to go to communities where Republicans do not normally go to listen and make our case. We need to campaign among Hispanic, black, Asian, and gay Americans and demonstrate we care about them, too. We must recruit more candidates who come from minority communities. But it is not just tone that counts. Policy always matters.
___________________
Good advice. the problem: they didn't do that one bit this election cycle. you guys learned absolutely nothing. you guys identified the problem, but then went: eh, whatever.
so this part is interesting:
In 1980, exit polls tell us that the electorate was 88 percent white. In 2012, it was 72 percent white. Hispanics made up 7 percent of the electorate in 2000, 8 percent in 2004, 9 percent in 2008 and 10 percent in 2012. According to the Pew Hispanic Center, in 2050, whites will be 47 percent of the country while Hispanics will grow to 29 percent and Asians to 9 percent.
_____________________
this is interesting because while the population of hispanics (electorate) continue to grow, remember that a lot of hispanics also call themselves white-hispanic.
This tells us that hispanics, among a host of other reasons, are the most likely to be conservatives from any of the minority group.
the GOP agrees, seeing as:
If Hispanic Americans perceive that a GOP nominee or candidate does not want them in the United States (i.e. self-deportation), they will not pay attention to our next sentence. It does not matter what we say about education, jobs or the economy; if Hispanics think we do not want them here, they will close their ears to our policies. In the last election, Governor Romney received just 27 percent of the Hispanic vote. Other minority communities, including Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, also view the Party as unwelcoming. President Bush got 44 percent of the Asian vote in 2004; our presidential nominee received only 26 percent in 2012.
_____________________
So i'mma stop pulling from the report right here for now. This right here, is a top 3 reason why you guys are about to get murdered this election. lets repeat this part:
If Hispanic Americans perceive that a GOP nominee or candidate does not want them in the United States (i.e. self-deportation), they will not pay attention to our next sentence. It does not matter what we say about education, jobs or the economy; if Hispanics think we do not want them here, they will close their ears to our policies.
__________
and yet, what happened? Trump supporters, not conservatives as a whole, but trump and his supporters, single handedly pushed the hispanic vote away.
you guys completely turned off hispanics. i seriously wonder if Hillary is gonna pull around the 90% ballpark for hispanic votes this election.
I mean i watch guys like Kasich and Bush preach a message of unity and reaching out to hispanics.
and then Trump opened his mouth.
And it just went downhill from there. And so i'm talking directly to guys like Pit, YTown, DC, etc.
what happened? because the way i see it, non-tea party GOP politicians are good people. So how is it that the far-right, Alt-right group completely took over everything you guys USE to stand for?
remember, these are the same groups that pushed the "obama isn't american" and "obama is a muslim"
no facts. just hate, and constant fear mongering.
So where do we go from here? because while i don't believe in trickle-down economics, i do believe that this sort of hate speech is going to trickle-down into the GOP losing seats in congress, and possibly elections for governor and state legislators around the country.
so where do we go from here?
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
i would really like to know what politicians plan on doing with healthcare cost, student debt, our infrastructure, the evolution of the economy and how it pertains to the world, the justice system, as well as the war on drugs.
i don't talk about police brutality and other issues as much because social issues tend to work themselves out over time year after year.

One thing I will say is that I wish there was more discussion on these and other important topics, and less discussion on who talked over who, where each person positioned themselves on the debate stage, what provocative statement this person said, etc. It gets tiresome after awhile. At the end of the day, policy matters more and when I break it down, Trump's ideas work a lot better for American citizens.

I believe this as well. Although he's a millionaire I still think he's more relatable to the average person this Hillary Clinton. At least to me, Clinton seems like a career politician who has been sheltered for a VERY long time and who is completely out of touch. And she still touts that stupid line about the wealthy paying their fair share to pay for her increase in programs. I mean come on. Her policies real of socialism and class warfare and I don't like it.

Relatable in what way? Do you hang out with a lot of people who are totally full of themselves and will never admit they are wrong and also think they are the smartest person at everything? If that's the case, very relatable.
Going back to the children in our country... all parents and their teachers want them to see positive adult role models ...the President should be one. Trump is not.
Please don't tell me that you think Hillary is
In comparison to a guy who boasts about sexual assault, acts like a middle school bully and insults huge groups of our population....yes, I think she is a better role model.

ROTFLMFAO I am shocked that you have not drowned yourself in the kool aid.
I would expect Donald Trump the business man to do what is right for his business and his family. Why should he sabotage his own businesses in order to make a political point? That is essentially what it would come down to-- if he made the decision to use exclusively highly-paid American workers while his competitors used cheap overseas labor, to buy expensive American materials while his competitors bought cheap Chinese steal, etc.... maybe we'd be talking about bankrupt Donald Trump instead of a few out of the many companies he's ran that went bankrupt.
No, it would prove he had a moral backbone to stand up to what he perceives is wrong and killing our country. He would choose to have less profit for himself and improve the lives of the American worker he now seems to want to champion.
Trump's successful business and being a millionaire/billionaire has nothing to do with how well he will be as a President. Actually working to help improve the lives of people, working to improve education, fighting for people who don't have a voice, working for peace or how to solve problems domestically and internationally, working to make life better for the future of the country....that is the work of a public service/politician. I honestly could care less how successful his business is. He enjoys boasting about it as it has made him rich. But, how does his greed help the average American? How is he going to help the loggers, the coalminers who seem to think he will save and care for them? We all know coal is not coming back and he wont save those towns and I am willing to bet he really has no care about Wheeling,WV or or other coal towns. Yet, he seems to have that area secure thinking jobs will return.

Kool Aid? With all due respect GM as you have stated on here before your strong religious beliefs...how can you, as a Christian, defend him?
As a Christian I can't defend him or Hillary. They both are offensive to me. However he does not approve of slaughtering innocent children like Hillary does.
Who cares, trump isn't winning anyway. Argue about something else.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
A person who would generally be considered above criticism (e.g. the Pope, Mr. Khan, Miss Universe, etc.) insults Trump in some nasty way. Trump responds with an equivalent insult. People then blame Trump... why?
My view is that if somebody insults you, you have the right to insult back in an appropriate manner. Just sitting there and 'taking it' is not really a desirable character trait and I don't really think that is something we should teach our kids, if you want to go down that road. As a general rule it is better to respond in kind, or in some cases just dismissively ignore the insult out of hand. depends on the situation.
Call it a difference of opinion.
You can't put The Pope in the same sentence as Miss Universe.
There are some people you simply don't engage in "Twitter Wars" and publicly insult. The Pope, Dalai Lama immediately come to mind. The President should simply have more class than that. Everything about Trump lacks class.
But, Swish is right...I should ignore it becuase Nov. 8th he can disappear. No doubt he will stomp his feet crying like a baby whose pacifier fell out of the crib or whose mom isn't buying them what they want in the store.

I actually happen to be a small business guy and I just don't agree that those responsibilities fall on a business owner, big or small. It seems like you are under the impression that it was Donald Trump's job to run a charity and not a business, or to be a politician instead of a businessman.
Hillary Clinton has been in politics for at least 30 years, as First Lady of Arkansas, First lady of the US, U.S. Senator, and Sec. of State. What has she done to improve the lives of people, improve education, fight for people who don't have a voice, work for peace (errr.. scratch that) or solve problems domestically and internationally?! Think about how much more screwed up the Middle East and Northern Africa are now compared to when Hillary took over as Secretary of State in 2009. It would be comical except for the fact that millions of people in the world have had their lives ruined as a direct result of Secretary Clinton's actions.
As far as coal, logging and some other blue collar jobs, I actually happen to agree with candy that at least most of those jobs are not coming back due to advancements in technology and such. I think that Trump is a little out of touch in that respect. You could also turn that around and say that we no longer have the need to be flooded by cheap/unskilled labor either though if many jobs are just going to become obsolete in the coming years anyway.
