Who cares, trump isn't winning anyway. Argue about something else. OK lets argue about killing innocent babies. I have been argueing about that since the mid 70's No point in arguing about that either. Abortion rights are here to stay. Next.

A person who would generally be considered above criticism (e.g. the Pope, Mr. Khan, Miss Universe, etc.) insults Trump in some nasty way. Trump responds with an equivalent insult. People then blame Trump... why?
My view is that if somebody insults you, you have the right to insult back in an appropriate manner. Just sitting there and 'taking it' is not really a desirable character trait and I don't really think that is something we should teach our kids, if you want to go down that road. As a general rule it is better to respond in kind, or in some cases just dismissively ignore the insult out of hand. depends on the situation.
Call it a difference of opinion. You can't put The Pope in the same sentence as Miss Universe. There are some people you simply don't engage in "Twitter Wars" and publicly insult. The Pope, Dalai Lama immediately come to mind. The President should simply have more class than that. Everything about Trump lacks class. But, Swish is right...I should ignore it becuase Nov. 8th he can disappear. No doubt he will stomp his feet crying like a baby whose pacifier fell out of the crib or whose mom isn't buying them what they want in the store. I don't believe anybody should be above criticism. Likewise, I don't believe anybody should dish out insults without recognizing that the person might just dish them back. Make sure you put your big boy pants on before you enter the political arena.

Even partial birth abortion. You know, when the baby is "born", they hold the baby in the pelvis and stick a scissors or whatever into the skull, and make mashed potatoes out of the brain. And they call it "abortion". She wants higher taxes on the "rich" to pay for all the sh..... she says she can do. But she also gets all her money from the rich. So, just as now, there will be an out for the rich. Who gets hit? The dwindling middle class. The poor will get even more in benefits, and the country will sink in debt. (we already are, actually.) But, if you like your doctor or your health care plan, you can keep it, right? Oh,a friend of mine. Family business. In the last 8 years their insurance premiums have gone up 98%, and deductibles have risen a lot. A lot of these knotheads that are all "pro clinton" have never had to deal with, nor no anything about, running a business. Paying the damn taxes. The liability insurance. Taxes out the ass. All so you can hire someone to work for a month and then quit cause "damn, that's work. I wanna sit in an office and play on my damn phone." It's cool how all the "takers" want more........from others. "Hey, raise THEIR taxes, cause I don't have enough for food, cigs, internet, cable, gas for my car," etc. And yet a dumbass like me, that is hurt with an injury that could take up to 6 months to be better, is still finding a way to make it. I WAS a 1 man show. Now, I need the income so I hired someone. Otherwise, I've got no income coming. I (capitalized) have the investment in my damn business. I have the liability. I have the responsibility. Damn right I ought to see some f'n profit from the whole deal. Or, I could vote for hillary, for the dem's, and let someone else take care of me.

Agree to disagree. It lacks class. The President should be that role model who shows restraint and class.

That's you and the rest of your fellow conservatives for not putting up a better candidate.
I love all the whining. But make sure you look in the mirror as to why Hillary will be winning in a landslide.
I love all these tears. So delicious

If it was the Pope, why don't you hold him to the same standard as Trump? I happen to think that a man defending himself from accusations is a desirable character trait. Those who don't stick up for themselves will never be taken seriously. Look no further than Bernie Sanders, nice/admirable guy, but he'd let protesters take over his podium and the very people who he fought to help for fifty years mostly didn't even vote for him.

i would really like to know what politicians plan on doing with healthcare cost, student debt, our infrastructure, the evolution of the economy and how it pertains to the world, the justice system, as well as the war on drugs.
i don't talk about police brutality and other issues as much because social issues tend to work themselves out over time year after year.
One thing I will say is that I wish there was more discussion on these and other important topics, and less discussion on who talked over who, where each person positioned themselves on the debate stage, what provocative statement this person said, etc. It gets tiresome after awhile. At the end of the day, policy matters more and when I break it down, Trump's ideas work a lot better for American citizens. I believe this as well. Although he's a millionaire I still think he's more relatable to the average person this Hillary Clinton. Relatable in what way? Do you hang out with a lot of people who are totally full of themselves and will never admit they are wrong and also think they are the smartest person at everything? If that's the case, very relatable. I dont think you should insult Swish in that way.

Hillary completely destroyed Trump last night on the issue of Roe v Wade. That depends almost entirely on your opinion of abortion. I'm staying out of this one other than to make that point. But you have to look at it through that lens.

Man where's 40 at? The insults around here have been lacking. PD was talking about "class" in the presidency. I simply pointed out that bill was getting business done in, and on, the oval office. Cigar included. Yup, that's "class". And Hillary defended him. Then, and before. All through all of his sexual abuse. Clinton - bill - made a mockery of "president of the united states", and hillary helped. They (the clintons) have also made a killing from it. (in more ways than one). Sorry - if one is talking about "class" in the presidency, and holding Trump to one level while not holding the other to the same level, and even celebrating Bill's presidency, I have a problem. Hillary likes her husband about as much as you like a colonoscopy. But, she's with him for one reason: power.

You also referenced Lewensky, which was a consensual affair. That is what I replied to.

So anyway, fact checking some of the nonsense that was thrown around before about Trump using his bid to become president as nothing more than a launching ground for his own television network... http://www.businessinsider.com/right-side-broadcasting-trump-tv-2016-10Several hours before the final presidential debate on Wednesday, Donald Trump told his supporters on social media to tune into his Facebook, teasing "live event coverage."
Users who visited Trump's page at 8:30 found a livestream hosted by two Trump advisors, Boris Epshteyn and Cliff Sims broadcast by Right Side Broadcasting Network, a website best known for its YouTube channel, which has hosted streams of most Trump rallies and public appearances since July 2015
Over the next several hours before and after the debate, the two hosts interviewed a parade of Trump surrogates, including Eric Trump and campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.
The livestream immediately stoked ongoing speculation about whether Trump will launch his own television network if he loses the presidential election, a rumor fueled by his son in law Jared Kushner's meeting earlier this year with an investment firm that has backed media startups.
BuzzFeed declared that the livestream "may have been the inaugural broadcast of a forthcoming Trump News Network," while Politico asked "Did Trump just launch Trump TV?"
Some observers remarked that RSBN, which is already sympathetic to Trump, may collaborate with the real-estate mogul on the network's launch.
[some tweets]
But while the format of the show may resemble a potential future media venture, Right Side Broadcasting probably won't be the vehicle for that venture.
RSBN CEO Joe Seales told Business Insider on Thursday that the speculation about the network becoming Trump's potential television venture was unfounded.
"All of the media now apparently thinks we are going to become Trump TV?! That's just crazy (and not true by the way)!" Seales wrote in an email.
Seales said that he thought the broadcast "went okay" considering the Trump campaign reached out to his team less than two days before the debate to arrange a counter-broadcast to traditional cable pre-and post show panels.
"They called us out of the blue and asked if we could do it, so I flew two guys out there at the last minute," Seales said.
He added: "Had some issues with audio and a few hiccups here and there but overall they were very pleased."
The broadcast marks one of the more direct collaborations between the Trump campaign and RSBN.
Pastor Mark Burns, a campaign surrogate who introduced Trump on numerous occasions during the Republican presidential primary, anchors a regular video show on the network. And Seales told Business Insider earlier this year that Trump "watches the network a lot" on his plane, and appreciated that the network's camera operators showed the size of the Republican presidential nominee's crowds, which Trump frequently demands of other media outlets broadcasting his rallies.
Despite its skeleton crew, RSBN has racked up a number of dedicated viewers, with over 2 million hits on its most popular videos. RSBN has over 210,000 subscribers on YouTube. MSNBC, by comparison, has 202,000 subscribers.

Interesting
However, still some speculation. He said his network work become trumps network.
That doesn't mean trump isn't trying for his own.

Nobody. Especially since he won't be president.
It's just something to talk about. Ya know, an early versus of "where are they now: failed presidential candidates".

I really ought to stop posting this guy's stuff and I probably will at some point in November. Until then, bear with me. It's a reasonable take on the debate (and he gives the win to Clinton, something I don't particularly agree with but it was close and he gives some good reasons.) http://blog.dilbert.com/post/152067706781/i-score-the-third-debateI watched the third and most boring presidential debate last night. Here are my thoughts. Clinton’s goal was to stay vertical for ninety minutes and sound more well-informed than Trump while framing him as an unstable monster. She accomplished all of that and won the debate, in my opinion. But it wasn’t a big win. Trump only needed to act semi-presidential, and he did. We don’t expect him to have the same mastery of the facts. The bar is lower for the outsider. He needed a knockout punch but there was none. Persuasion-wise, the most emotionally powerful moments involved Clinton describing Trump as a sexist/racist monster who can’t be trusted with the nuclear codes. “Scary” was the only message she needed to drive home, and she did. Ask Clinton voters why they prefer her over Trump and few people will mention the economy or any specific policies. Almost everyone will mention Trump’s “temperament” or alleged racism/sexism. Those were the only variables that mattered. Clinton reinforced those messages and Trump did little or nothing to counter them. The rest of the debate and all of the policy questions were largely irrelevant to persuasion. Trump mentioned Clinton’s various scandals involving email, Wikileaks, and pay-for-play. But the public assumes all career politicians trade favors and say things in private that they wouldn’t say in public. The public also expects some dirty tricks out of campaigns. The Wikileaks attacks are toothless so far. So toothless that Clinton’s “Russia did it” defense is good enough (for a debate) even though it is ridiculous. The biggest buzz from the debate seems to be Trump’s refusal to say in advance that he would accept the election results if they went against him. The pro-Clinton pundits are framing that as another example of Trump’s terribleness. But of course it is nothing but Trump keeping all of his options open as he does in every other situation when he can. He wants to maintain the right to complain later if the result looks rigged to him. That seems reasonable to me, and no real danger to the Republic. But the Clinton-friendly parts of the media will make it a thing this week. If you want a reason to be worried, ask yourself why the mainstream media is so keen on framing the election as “not rigged.” The message I’m getting from them, collectively, is that they think it will be. (Because it will be.) We just don’t know how much the rigging will matter. Why do I say it will be rigged? Because whenever humans have motive, opportunity, a high upside gain, and low odds of detection, shenanigans happen 100% of the time. Our vote-counting systems have plenty of weak spots. Rigging (to some degree) is a near guarantee. And keep in mind that Team Clinton has framed Trump as the next Hitler. That gives every citizen moral cover to do outrageous things to stop him. The stakes are sky-high. In this environment, it would truly be a miracle to have an unrigged election. But again, we don’t know how much rigging there will be. It might not be enough to matter. There will almost certainly be election rigging for the same reason there has been debate rigging. If you don’t believe me about debate rigging, ask a woman who did some of that debate rigging herself. Allegedly. Unless it was Russia’s fault.

Ahh, another guy who thinks he knows more than the intelligence community.
Also, he doesn't mention the non-Clinton supporters who also blasted trump for calling the election rigged and not accepting the election results.
I'm no expert in master pursuasion, or whatever that is, but one would think that in order to persuade anybody to believe his blog, part of that is remaining unbiased as possible.
At this point, he's persuaded me in thinking he'd be a perfect "journalist" for an alt right media outlet like breibart.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

I don't see the issue with Trump taking a wait-and-see approach on what happens with the election. Like the writer said, it keeps his options open. Some of those who find Trump's comments to be so scary probably had no issue with Al Gore challenging the results of the 2000 Presidential Election. We'll see what happens. I do think there will be rigging/cheating to a certain extent. That's not said as a way to preemptively make excuses for Trump's (likely) loss. Actually there are some reasons to think that it would be more likely to help him than hurt him.

Actually there are some reasons to think that it would be more likely to help him than hurt him. So the idea here was just that Trump is behind by a lot right now. 538 has him behind in the popular vote by about 7% and their simulations give him about a 13% chance to win. My thought was that something big has to happen for him to win and a rigged election certainly qualifies. How much validity there is that? probably not much. I don't think the election will be rigged in the classic sense and it's especially hard to think of a situation where it would work in Trump's favor. who knows though.

Hillary completely destroyed Trump last night on the issue of Roe v Wade. “I feel the greatest destroyer of peace today is 'Abortion', because it is a war against the child... A direct killing of the innocent child, 'Murder' by the mother herself... And if we can accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another? How do we persuade a woman not to have an abortion? As always, we must persuade her with love... And we remind ourselves that love means to be willing to give until it hurts...” ― Mother Teresa “I've noticed that everyone who is for abortion has already been born.” ― Ronald Reagan “More than a decade ago, a Supreme Court decision literally wiped off the books of fifty states statutes protecting the rights of unborn children. Abortion on demand now takes the lives of up to 1.5 million unborn children a year. Human life legislation ending this tragedy will some day pass the Congress, and you and I must never rest until it does. Unless and until it can be proven that the unborn child is not a living entity, then its right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness must be protected.” ― Ronald Reagan “The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. It has sown violence and discord at the heart of the most intimate human relationships. It has aggravated the derogation of the father's role in an increasingly fatherless society. It has portrayed the greatest of gifts--a child--as a competitor, an intrusion and an inconvenience. It has nominally accorded mothers unfettered dominion over the dependent lives of their physically dependent sons and daughters. And, in granting this unconscionable power, it has exposed many women to unjust and selfish demands from their husbands or other sexual partners.” ― Mother Teresa

It's funny you quoted Reagan. The same guy who had no problem with destroying inner city families with his war on drugs.

You mean the war on drugs that Bill Clinton, for his part, increased the anti-drug budget by twenty-five percent, proposed expanded drug testing rules and intensified efforts toward drug interdiction and prosecution?

This isn't even a decent spin job. This is a bad attempt to deflect off of what Reagan did. Clinton has nothing to do with Reagan. You also assume I'm a fan of Bill Clinton. Also, what are you talking about with the drug testing rules?
