I agree with you about Bernie. I still think some of his ideas were a bit wacko but he seemed like a genuinely good guy.
I don't know how much being "a genuinely good guy" should do w/being elected president.
I do know that socialism doesn't work. It sounds great, but produces terrible results.
I agree Vers. That is why it is so frustrating that such a large percent of people who will vote for Hillary will do so because of some perceived character flaw with Trump. It's rare to hear any economic/policy reason; it's almost always something like, "Trump said such and such" or "Trump is a...". very little substance.
I've said numerous times on here that his economic trickle down theory is awful and his other policies will increase the debt.
Before people label Jester as an evil Hillary supporter, you should know a little bit about him.
Quote:
In previous attacks, Jester has alerted federal agencies about potential terrorist threats he learned about by hacking into communications forums. He has also taken down jihadist websites.
Quote:
“I realized something needed to be done about online radicalization and ‘grooming’ of wannabe jihadis, and we didn’t have mechanisms to deal with it,” Jester was quoted the CNNMoney profile. “I decided to start disrupting them.”

You are in the small percent that regularly discusses real issues.
Ask all the Clinton supporters you know in real life why they will vote for her... you will probably see my comment generally holds true.

All debates about candidates should start with Character... in that, both of our present leading candidates fail.
When character is suspect, then for me anyway, it becomes a reason to vote for a person, rather than vote against another person. However, in this case, I'm totally NEVER TRUMP..
But, taking socialism out of it, Jimmy Carter was a truly outstanding man. He was merely an average president and that's being generous.
So in the end, it just doesn't matter. Vote your heart and let the chips fall.

I can understand the argument for what you're saying. However, I've tried to consistently harp on how flawed I think his plans are. Maybe I'm in the minority.
Swish my friend, I just finished looking at several polls where Trump is creeping back. This ain't in the bag at all buddy, so I'd watch counting those chickens if you get what I mean.
Worst case scenario is that Clinton goes into victory formation here and Trump strolls down to score the final 'game winning' points. Complacent dems deciding that their vote is not needed for a victory is a very real threat. She has already lost my vote and many like mine. I think this will be much closer than any MSM news outlet portrays...
Don't always be so quick to believe what the MSM says buddy, this is far from over.

The thing I find most ugly is the name calling. I'm personally sick of it and I immediately dismiss anyone that uses name calling.

Clinton still leads in even a Fox News Poll. i never thought in my life a democrat would lead in anything on that network. especially Clinton.
I'm thinking Clinton is gonna win by 5-6 million in the popular vote, like Obama did against Romney. "close" if you want to call it that.
Trump is most likely gonna get smoked in the electoral vote. I mean there's a chance he won't even take Arizona.
The guys policies, along with his horribly flawed character, just ain't cutting it with the majority of americans.
I'm not worried at all. and i have no reason to be bro. i understand why you are, but, we all have our reasoning i suppose.

He got destroyed during the Debate when Wallace said Trumps plans would only cause the debt to sky rocket and that he has no plan to decrease it.
What was it, clintons plan would add 500 billion over 10 years, trump would add 10 trillion?
When he said that my mouth dropped. 500 billion over 10 years isn't jack, especially compared with Trumps.

I'm worried that Trump can still win. I'm also worried that Hillary will win, just not as much. But that puts me in the unique position of being less biased towards either and being able to see that there is a ton of crap being thrown out there. We seen this same media bias during the primary with Bernie and Hillary. She won, but she had to cheat to do it.
I'm not sure she can cheat her way to victory this time... So yes, I worry.
No, not that kind of name calling. But if you want to go down that path, I could fill pages and pages of things that Trump has said.
I'm talking about when a Citizen such as me, says he's voting for Clinton and gets called a libtard.
Hell, I don't even have to say who I'm voting for, if I say I'm NOT voting for Trump, I get called a Fanboy for Clinton or a Libtard or anyone of a number of derogatory names.
Some folks think that's funny, it's not. it's idiotic and childish.

but when they are giving him free airtime to pontificate on air they not so bad (like they did during the primaries).
The media is not giving Mr. Trump free airtime out of the goodness of their hearts, they are just waiting for him to screw-up so they can be there for the benefit of his opponent.
Trump was literally able to call into any show he wanted during the primaries. No other candidate could have done that. What he used that time for is up to him. It is not the medias fault he often said ridiculous things. Trump was easy ratings for any show that was willing to compromise (all of them did).
Quote:
As far as the "deplorable" crowd being the only ones voting for Mr. Trump, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
We don't have to wait and see. It's been over for awhile.
I'm sure labels like libby's or libtards is just a quick way of someone saying, mentally deranged people. This has probably been brought about by the multi-tasking craze the country is in. They're just trying to be more efficient labelers.

If that was supposed to be in Purple,, I like you funny side.
If you meant it seriously, that's exactly what I'm talking about as being childish.
Let me know how to take it.

that's what the /purple means without actually using purple text which is awful looking.
In it, Chris Wallace played by Tom Hanks asks Trump (Baldwin) a question about how the election is rigged and how the media was against him. Hanks (wallace) asked how the media was showing they were against him. (paraphrasing)
Trump (baldwin) answered: "because they take everything I say and everything I do and put it on TV".
Of course I know it's comedy, but sometimes the funniest things come from truth.
All the media is really doing here is putting on TV or in Print what he actually says and what he actually does.
It's not what the Media says about him, it's what the media says about what he does and says.
That's his fault.. He's got nobody to blame for that but himself.

The only thing that can completely ruin California is a massive earthquake. The Governator just ruined the government. Schwarzenegger is basically Trump without the controversial public statements (i.e. no plan).
Vice news tonight, quite a few episodes talking about the opioid crisis, and how addicts are now using animal tranqs type medicine to shoot up.

There has been way more name-calling by the democrats on this board and Hillary's commercials have been far more insulting.

Yes. I've read about elephant tranqs being used to lace up drugs.
Hilary feels that she has this election wrapped up to the point where she's trying to help Dems win the senate. Geesh, could you imagine Dems owning the senate, Supreme Court, and the White House? Republicans will get taken to the woodshed.
once she is in office, she gets a clean slate to show what she has in her new role. However, she needs to show some results.
The economy is gonna take work and time and a lot of negotiating with republicans.
But she can start making immediate impacts such as combating this heroin crisis and other drug/crime/justice system related things.
Regardless on how people feel about a democrat controlled senate, the way I view it is this: The economy is slowly recovering and the ACA is here to stay.
So If she gets a democrat controlled senate, I don't wanna hear crap about the other side. She will have damn near complete control on implementing her plan, so her plans better get psssed, and they better show results.
Obama walked into a crapfest situation. She, however, will not. Results, or it doesn't matter what excuse she makes, she won't be sniffing the White House come 2020.

That's because he never delivers any details or substance, himself. He just says "We are going to make America Great Again, America will work again, it will be a beautiful thing". Or, "We will defeat ISIS, we will show the world a Tough America and it will be beautiful". BUT....he never goes into any details about how nor does he argue against those who criticize or debunk his trickle down/cut taxes on wealthy economic plan or his foreign policy.
Hillary has already gone into detail about her plans.
