They must like the fullback we signed a few weeks back. Dan Vitale. I read that he is a very versatile player who played all over for Northwestern.

If we had Lawrence Vickers back we'd have 3 wins already.

Wow, it seemed liked he was starting to come on.
I am wondering if maybe there was an off the field problem.

At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

thought he had improved honestly
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Johnson played 12 snaps yesterday on offense. There was no reason for us to be carrying two full backs if they are involved that little.

I am wondering if maybe there was an off the field problem. I thought that Johnson had really improved. We did have 6 players between TE/FB ..... and very few teams even carry 5. They must see something in Vitale that convinced them to keep him over Johnson. It will be interesting to see if Johnson is claimed, or signs with another team. The FB position is so devalued these days that I really m not sure.

For a fullback, I actually like Vitale. I mentioned him in pre-draft talk, and I think it is well established I am no fan of fullbacks. He at least showed something in the passing game at Northwestern...he caught 30-40 balls a year.

HOW MANY SNAPS DID THE OTHER FB PLAY YESTERDAY? .. sorry about the caps .. None...he was not active...doesn't change your point though. I'd have preferred to see Vitale in a game first before cutting MJ. As others have said, I thought MJ was looking better - outside the fumble. We have four QBS on the 53 right now and RG3 eligible to return at some point. Something is going on here.

Wow! Surprised they used him that much. Lot of catches for that position. How was he used as far as patterns? We could use some of that.
PS I still miss Vickers.

I won't be surprised to see Malcolm Johnson back with this team shortly unless someone else picks him up.

Players Browns fans always love:
- Fullbacks (with the exception of Marecic who was universally hated) - Backup QBs - Late round draft picks - Anyone named Frisman
