Joe Buck slobbering all over Schwarber. Is it just me, or is he just openly rooting for the Cubs? I never hear him get this excited. Whenever the Cubs get a hit, he starts to channel his inner Gus Johnson. That, and he needs to get a room with Schwarber so we don't have to hear it. I applaud Schwarzenegger has done. But going to a reporter to report the same things they've been saying for 2 games makes it ridiculous

No chance in this game tonight. Bauer was not the answer in any way, shape or form...

Bite me Strat-O-Matic! http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/world-...indians-game-2/Strat-O-Matic came awfully close to nailing the first game, as it pegged a 4-0 victory for the Indians. Cleveland won by a 6-0 score.
Here's what Strat-O-Matic foresees for Wednesday night:
Cubs -- 11 12 0 Tribe -- 2 8 0
The key player in Game 2's simulation? Kyle Schwarber, who notched four hits (including two home runs) and drove in five runs. Trevor Bauer, meanwhile, struggled to get through 3 2/3 innings, yielding four runs along the way. Cleveland's usually strong bullpen allowed the other seven runs.
Will Strat-O-Matic get this one right? We'll find out soon enough. It predicts the Indians to win it all.... How accurate is it?

just gotta hope we can get one in wrigley. they are the better team IMO. not saying we can't win it, but now we are definitely the underdogs
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

If you're going to let Zobrist on base again, can't you at least bean him?

Time to start an epic comeback.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

i fully expect us to allow a no hitter.. as good as Tito is with pitchers(when he has someone not named bauer or shaw) he's been pretty bad with his lineups. Naquin just shouldnt play at all..he just can't hit...he's not even close. We have to do something next game to spark the offense, we can't even play small ball because we can't even make contact. I really thought the indians needed to take both at home to have a chance against Cubs...We need someone to step up and pitch well in between kluber games...I almost can guarantee he's pitching game 4 now.

So you think temperature has to do with getting the ball out the park? Yes, trying to hit a cold ball with a cold bat. They just showed Joe Buck's fav guy heating his bat up with a heater. In the beginning of the season you don't see a ton of hr's because the weathers still cold. When the weather starts heating up, that's why u see a lot more. That's when u see regular fly balls...make it out of the park and etc. Balls will still fly out, but with two cold cities...I expect the balls will have to really fly off the bat to get out in this series.

“Bats are less flexible in extreme cold so the ball doesn’t travel as well off the bat and you also see more broken bats.”
Discomfort is also an issue. “Thirty-five degrees is a nightmare, pure and simple,” said ESPN analyst Doug Glanville, who hit nearly 50 points higher in July than he did in March and April. Glanville said it takes a few innings to get used to playing wearing extra layers and turtlenecks. Then there’s the pain factor: “If you get jammed with a pitch or hit one off the end of the bat that is going to sting for an inning or even two.”
------------------
Ted, I cut parts of this just so it would be quick reading since we're watching the game.

So dumb. What a waste. Just load the bases and walk in a few runs. FORCE THEM TO SWING!
