There are some really good young bigs in the league right now. Myles Turner was a beast last night too.

Also, AD needs to join Minny as soon as he can.

The wolves have bigger priorities.

Like getting a real point guard. Rubio isn't cutting it.

the celts have great team chemistry/atmosphere

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

So they're lead's "team that will beat the Cavs" this year?

Rubio isn't that bad. He put up very good fantasy points last year. He isn't a huge scorer, around 10 or 11 a game, but he averages close to 9 dimes a game, a couple of steals a game, and around 4-5 boards a game.

That team has a lot of guys who like to shoot. He's not the worst option at PG.

I think that's part of the "problem" with Rubio.

People watch Kyrie, Curry, and Paul. And see guys that can pass, but are more likely to take/make their own shot. Guys that can "take over" a game.

So when a "True PG" comes along, he's not viewed as well. (by the general public)

Edit: Also I think the holdout over seas wasn't the best start to his career. Either people felt negatively about it for whatever reason, or possibly it raised his "hype" level up to where people thought he was some great player.

Meh, if it wasn't for Daily fantasy basketball, I wouldn't even watch the NBA during the regular season. For talented teams like the Cavs and Golden State.........these games are meaningless.

For example, one can't say things like Kyrie doesn't run back on defense or that he monopolizes the ball. We can't say that the team is or isn't getting along. It's all about the playoffs and the regular season has become a long, boring snooze-fest.

i feel you, but for me it's still fun.

i want to see how guys like McRae and Liggins develop. i want to see how Felder performs during the season. i want to see how Dunleavy plays with our team.

Felder and Liggins will be getting a decent amount of minutes.

as far as the rest of the nba, it's fun to watch which teams could be dark horses to make the playoffs, how good or trash the Knicks will look.

and i just love Westbrook's competitiveness.

I love basketball. Even though I got a scholarship in football, I always thought I was a better bb player. I love fantasy bb and it has my interest. I was just griping because I wish the regular season games were more meaningful.

I think I did the math one year you could drop every 2nd game of a back to back, and have something like 65 games.

Players are more rested, the product is better, and the games are more meaningful.

Teams however lose money, so it'll never happen

You heard it it here first. YTown expects a sweep in every series in the playoffs, including the finals!!!

Bold predictions!!!

the good thing thus far is lebron is pacing himself ... no need to extend minutes/energy now

we have enough playmakers to ride the majority of nights. And it will help the team become more rounded anyways

The Warriors haven't looked great yet, and Durant keeps talking about Westbrook .. I think he's very sensitive honestly. Not sure he can handle the constant pressure there

The Warriors will need time to gel. They'll struggle a bit but their offensive talent will eventually crush most of the team they'll be playing.

they will be alot like us the first year of big 3..I expect them all to eventually realize where they can sacrifice for the good of the team..Hopefully that happen next season after we repeat

lebron has been very laid back this year, they actually all have. You can tell they have zero pressure, they've seen it all and it doesn't phase them. Kyrie has turned into option 1, love 2 and lebron 3 and he's 100% fine with it...speaking of Love..WTF is going on with him, he's all of sudden this defensive stalwart..playing passing lanes and defending the post..I like relaxed Love. I still think we add a backup PG, but I don't think they are in rush to do so.. plus we got Cook on the charge this year again after he left last year. I think he could be a good option if things get tight
