Crazy how the Jags were so hyped up before the season started.. They have looked like trash the first half. We actually look better than them with a 3rd string QB (kessler) and a horrid defense. At least we were competitive.

Crazy how the Jags were so hyped up before the season started.. They have looked like trash the first half. We actually look better than them with a 3rd string QB (kessler) and a horrid defense. At least we were competitive. Sorry, but the last I looked the Jags have 2 wins so no the Browns have definitely not looked better even if we have been "competitive". This team is the worst in the league by a long shot.

At least we were competitive. Sorry, but the last I looked the Jags have 2 wins so no the Browns have definitely not looked better even if we have been "competitive". This team is the worst in the league by a long shot. Just curious but did you actually watch any of the game last night? The Jags looked god awful and did make the Browns look like a better team. I know there is more talent on the Jags team but they just are not playing good at all and I'm amazed they have 2 wins...then again look at their schedule compared to ours. Look we are 0-7 for a reason but man we are at least watchable compared to what I have seen from the Jags (not just talking about those uniforms last night lol).

I think giving up on Bortles now would be beyond ignorant. Almost everyone said he would need to sit at least a couple of years and learn the nuances of the NFL game. He never even had to look off a safety in college. He has talent, but he is extremely raw.
He has been extremely disappointing this year, but I would not give up on him at this point.

He has been extremely disappointing this year, but I would not give up on him at this point. I agree it would be stupid to give up so early. I just can't figure out how they have not worked on his mechanics, they look awful and I swear its gotten worse.

They shouldn't give up on Bortles (yet). But the entire coaching staff is going to get fired and I bet an "offensive guru" will be brought in to help out Bortles. I'm guessing Doug Marrone will be the interim coach ... hes a really good coach and knows talent ..
If he gets the job permanently we will learn weather Bortles is worth keeping or not .. Marrone got "fired" from Buffalo for basically saying from day 1 ... EJ MAUAL SUCKS ... that didn't go over with the FO that just drafted him (he may have been there, but i think he was drafted Marrone's first year) ... needless to say there was some tension after that ...
And Marrone has an ego the size of the grand canyon .. he knows his stuff but hes a real jackass and gets along with no one ..
I think with Bortles its in his head ... Sims even said it last night .. when the game was over he relaxed and once that happend his mechanics improved 100% ...
I loved Bradley and thought he was doing a good job .. another swing and a miss for Diam .. *L* ..
