Rick may very well be the dirtiest/sweatiest/bloodiest leading character ever on TV:

Soooooooo, did anyone watch last night???

It was awesome. I had said they only two people it could be, based upon strength of meaning to the death and where they were in story arch, would be Glenn and Abe. It ended up being both.

I thought for sure, with that opening scene and Negan talking about the right hand man and getting the axe that Rick was going to lose his hand. It ended up being almost being Karl, which would have been much easier to pull off from a filming standpoint since he's not on the show as much.

I still wish this would have been the finale of last year. I think ending on such a down note would have been just what was needed to show the despair the group is in.

The show depresses me. It's all about rooting for someone to die any more. Although, Neegan has certainly already become a Grade-A horrible, disgusting, easy to root against villain. PHEW!

Interested to see where it goes from here.

Rick did slaughter a ton of his people with no cause to that point. Obviously Neegan is a bad guy, and more will come out about that. To say that Rick's group didn't deserve to get what happened would be faulty.

I didn't really say anything about who deserves what. And I agree. When Rick & Co. were on their killing spree last season, I kept saying they were no better than anyone else.

I'm trying to say it's a bit off-putting to me that one of the most popular shows on TV has come to the point where the audience seems to get more & more blood-thirsty.

On Game of Thrones, the fans are outraged & upset over a character getting killed. By the last season finale of Walking Dead, the fans were outraged and upset because they DIDN'T get to see a character getting killed. I practically guarantee that if Neegan had stopped after his first kill last night, people would be complaining that it was a big let down.

But the show IS about society collapsing and the survival of the fittest, smartest, whatever, so I probably should just shut up and stop acting like a big wuss!

The show was really harsh last night, to the point of I was questioning why I even watch it. It seemed to go too far, the with bashing of heads.... I was like wow, this is really dark. Perhaps too dark?

Yeah, I kept thinking, "Where does AMC draw the line with the violence and gore?"

I know people that are into the comics and they say every other word out of Neegan's mouth is the F-Word. I was thinking, "I can see flesh hanging from a barbed-wire wrapped bat and a half popped-out eyeball but can't hear some F-Bombs??"

Last night was not nearly as brutal as the human slaughter scene at Terminus....

It was a great episode. Glenn was a likable character, but his death will build up Negan.

It was probably the first time in a very long time I watched a TV show live. I usually just let them pile up on the DVR. My wife and I work opposite of each other quite a bit, so when we get a night together, we will watch a bunch. Neither of us could wait to find out, and didn't want to be spoiled.

Can't wait to see how this season unfolds...

They lost me last night .. It was over the top and I think they know it now ..

What Negan did to Glenn and made Rick almost do to Carl is how you build a villain.

was so pissed about Glenn lol was my favorite character on the show. and imo he went through more BS than anyone else...I don't mean losing friends but rather finding himself in the most crazy life and death situations.

He was good, especially early on. I think his character really stagnated with Maggie and with the baby coming.

I heard his favorite place to eat was Popeye's.

I was hoping that Carl was the one who was going to get put out to pasture. I don't like his character much, the hat has gotta go and now he only has one eye. Time to get rid of him too, but they won't, because of his dad.

Good episode last night! Heavy drama. Negan is rough, I can't stand him. Great character for the show though. Looking forward to him getting his due. (It might take awhile.)

That's kind of my worry, He's such a bad character (played perfectly by JDM, i really couldn't think of someone who could play him better..but, he's such a great antagonist that eventually the fan base is going to want to see some wins for the good guys, my fear is they are going to drag this out too long. Looks like alot of story lines they need to tie together this season. Finally revealed what everyone already knew about Judith.

I thought I read somewhere according to the comics, Negan will be around for a few seasons. Apparently, there is a cosmic shift of between pre-Negan and after they meet Negan.

With TWD being one of the most watched shows on TV, I'm sure AMC will milk it as long as they can.

I wonder if they'll allow Negan to wear on the viewers for too long? I love the extreme villain but he's gotta get his fare share of Lucille's business end before they lose too many rating points.

Then what? Another group of human villains to contend with? Rinse, repeat.

I just keep wondering what the end game is here... Everyone dies? They find a cure?

How do you think it will finally end someday?

I never read it but I guess it will end like the comic book ended? But I really don't know and don't wanna know. (((No spoilers!)))

P.S. Rosita Espinosa (Christian Serratos) is kinda hot, me thinks. But for some reason in the last episode she seemed.... I don't know, pasty?

Looking good:

The comic book is still going. Plenty of material to pull from still. I've read the first 12 books, which takes you to the next bad guy. The Negan stuff will take up all of the season, and maybe half of next, in my opinion. I think they could stretch it a full two seasons if they really wanted to.

It was a good episode on 12/4/2016. I recorded it, just watched it.

The Walking Dead is a modern-day soap opera of sorts... Just with zombies instead of models.

Negan has been awesome. JDM has done a great job of playing him.

I just wonder who gets the honors to send him away?

I know the show has taken a lot of heat for being not so intense after that first episode, but in the big picture of things, this season was all about building Negan and the Saviors up. I can't wait to see where this show goes.
