The Indians need to get people on base and get them home; there's no need to swing at stupid pitches.

Why are the cheers so loud for a strikeout? I thought we were at home? what the heck.

Crowd is 50/50. And that pitch that Napoli swung at was way outside of the zone.

If he wouldn't have swung at that, it might've gotten called a strike anyway.

The Indians need this guy coming up to bat to just get a base hit. That's it. I wouldn't expect him to hit it out of the park.

We'll never live this down, ever. Game 7 at home after being up 3-1 in the series, coming back from 4 runs down to tie, force extras and then lose like that. This will live on in Cleveland lore as the worst night in our sports history.

I'm truly embarrassed to be an Indians fans.

No way we win a World Series in my lifetime now. You don't get any closer than that.

The crazy thing is..

Noone cares.

It's ALL about the Cubs, and always has been.

I don't know how you can be embarrased after this game.

As a sports fan it was incredible.

As an Indians fan I'm proud they got back in it.

Most of us here called this game. I'm not surprised, but of course I'm really bummed out. It turned out to be a better game than I thought. Half of us went to sleep or watched something else late into the innings, then the Indians came back and then, well, we all know the rest of the story.

I'm still proud of our Indians. We'll get 'em next year when we're healthy!

I just don't know where you go from here though after losing game 7. Its just such a helpless feeling.

I would be curious to know other sports team's thoughts and feelings following a game 7 loss. I wonder if there's any books or documentaries about stuff like that.

This is so true, sure it's a downer but the way they came back in this game is one to be proud of.

We lost games 6 & 7 at home to the cursed CUBS. Again, we let the CUBS come into our town and beat us twice with the entire nation watching. The team that hadn't won a title in anyone's lifetime is now champions because we choked. Not only that, but we're now the proud owners of the longest streak without a World Series title. Any bit of pride we built with the Cavs win just crumbled to nothing.

We're once again, the laughing stock of professional sports. I think this is worse than the Drive, the Fumble & 1997.

I've seen myself as a Clevelander for all of my life, including the almost 17 years I've been in Chicago. I know I'm in the darkest moment right now, but I don't see how I'll ever recover from this (sports wise).

I can't bring myself to say the standard "we gave it our best", "they were the better team" or the obvious "we went to the championship twice in a year and split, not too bad".

And our Browns are currently the worst franchise in American sports, maybe above the 76ers?

Sad, sad day.

Well, I am sad that we lost, but I congratulate the Cubs. They played well.

Hopefully we avoid the devastating injuries we had this year, and win it all next year.

Yes, congrats to the TRUE Cubs fans. Losing is only made somewhat easier as at least it was to the Cubs.

The bandwagon Cubs fans, however, are beginning to bug me though.
