We've arrived at 0-8 .. the worst record we've ever had in my lifetime
Dallas just came off a huge, emotional win. And has some key injuries on defense.
Dak is starting, Dez is back, Zeke looks good, and their OL is the best.
Can we somehow pull this off?

Almost no chance IMO. I can't see how dallas's o-line doesn't demolish us. We HAVE to shut down Zeke, sell out to stop the run and execute some wacky blitzes.

Dez vs Haden, assuming Joe hasn't gotten hurt in the last few days, will be a solid match up for the first half..
Then Joe will get called for holding.
Then Dez will beat him for 40 yards.

Stop Zeke and and we can win. He is an inside runner and that is our greatest strength on defense. Question then becomes can we stop him from going inside and bouncing outside for the big gain.
I like our chances in this one a lot.

Agreed. Can't see how. It is ironic how we hold but can't tackle. Zeke probably had this game circled since he suited up.

We'd have a small chance if Romo had to play with a broken collarbone and Emmitt Smith somehow became the starting running back.
I think it'll be crazy ugly at half. Like 31-3 ugly.

Can we .. ya .. stars are aligned as good as they can be ... they lost 3/4's of there secondary last week ... Thanks Phili .. were also sandwiched in between Phili and the Stilers .. they will have a letdown ... just don't believe it will be a big enough of one ..
This one could be UGLY ...

MOURG - If we shut Zeke down .. (just north of IMPOSSIBLE IMO) why are they not going to pass with GREAT SUCCESS ..

Dallas is playing close to the best football right now in the NFL. Can we win...I don't think so. Can Dallas LOSE? That could be a possibility.
I'm hoping Kessler Starts and Finishes a game. The OL is starting to play better which they struggled since Bitonio went on IR.
Coleman, a definite weapon is coming back and will line up across from Pryor.
The D just got a dynamic player. Wow, so what we did was exchanged 51 Mingo who is a special teamer. For a Probowl 51 (what he is wearing I think for us) young and talented.
A possible spark. Haden played well in his comeback. I'm sure he will get shots again. I just hope our UDFA Rookie DBs will tackle and play better!
I just hope the Cowboys over look us! They can destroy us if their running game is on point and our tackling is terrible...it could be a crushing defeat.

Dallas has struggled to get a pass rush going and our OL is playing better with its pass protection. Coleman hasn't been able to practice but he has been able to work on his footwork and route running. Coleman and Pryor with Cody's accuracy could be a real challenge for the Dallas secondary.
I believe we can control the clock and keep the Dallas offense watching from the sidelines. I have confidence in Cody Kessler to move the chains and let guys like Pryor, Coleman and Johnson to make plays for him. He is gonna have a good game on Sunday.
This game is winnable. Games we lost, we found ways to lose. other than against the eagles in the opener when we were just overwhelmed, we have played some really good football but the defense just couldnt maintain. There was the pats game also but we were even with them in that game when we lost Cody with the shoulder.

But until our defense plays a complete game, I'm going to make the assumption that no matter how many points we score, we will give up more than that. If we score 10, they will score 17... if we score 28, they will score 35... if we score 42, they will score 50.... Go prove me wrong fellas.

They lost a starting CB and a starting safety ... Claibourne and Church got hurt ... there both out for at least 3 weeks ... i thought they lost Scandrick also ... Ooooops .. Anyone know why Pryor didn't practice on Wednesday? Coleman's a go ... Pryor practiced in full today .. just wondering why he didn't practice yesterday ... Cody practiced in full ... Hue won't commit to him starting him yet ... prolly just trying to keep Dallas guessing ..
