My QB situation is a mess.
Should I start Stafford or Kaepernick this week?
Both of the Lions guards are banged up and they are facing Aaron Donald. Riddick and Ebron are out now, too.
Kaepernick is facing Buffalo, but his receivers aren't very good and the Bills have been playing better on D. Vance McDonald is supposed to play this week.
Jameis Winston is on his bye.

Stafford or Kaepernick: 6 of one, half dozen of the other ... no dif. FWIW, I heard a fantasy guru on the radio say that Brian Hoyer is a "great play" this week if you need a QB. I think he's probably available in most leagues. Just don't shoot the messenger if he comes up "Hoyer". He has been pretty good the last 3 weeks.
Me, I have to pick between Giovani Bernard and Arien Foster (if Foster is active).

Hoyer's not available. Tannehill, Keenum, or Kessler are the only other starters available.
I'd probably go with Gio.
Miami will probably be playing from behind against the Steelers. Almost makes me consider Tannehill, but I just can't do it.

I've had Gio and he's been atrocious thus far ... just FWIW

Personally, I'd go with Stafford. I think one of LA's (feels weird typing LA) top cornerbacks is out which could spell a nice afternoon for a Stafford/Jones combo. Stafford will be throwing all day, either to get ahead early or if LA runs up the score and they have to play from behind. I feel like that Jim Bob Cooter (also feels weird to type) offense throws a ton, making Stafford a viable option almost every week.
Plus, at least for me, I think there are too many unknowns for CK playing for the first time this season. Thus, I think SF will rely on Carlos Hyde more, especially going across the country on the road in Buffalo.
Side note: Ebron being out might spell more RZ targets for Boldin. Sneaky play for DFS sites.
At DT, context and meaning are a scarecrow kicking at moving goalposts.

At TE, in a PPR league, I have to choose between Tyler Eifert vs Browns and Delaney Walker vs Colts. Ian Rappaport says Eifert will be active and will get "limited" snaps. Walker, on the other hand, seemed to be invisible vs the Browns last week in a game I thought he'd come up big. It appeared that Mariotta didn't even look for him. I'm leaning Eifert, but I don't like the "limited" tag. Thoughts?

Ha! Will Burge on WTAM had a fantasy guru on the air (Kevin Payne, Rotowire), so I texted that question to them, and he said the same thing you did. Walker it is.

This weekend I'm choosing between Mike Wallace vs Pitt or Corey Coleman vs Dallas ... what do you all think? PPR league, BTW.

Hard to have much faith in either, but either one could also show well. Flip a coin, heads for Coleman, tails for Wallace.

This weekend I'm choosing between Mike Wallace vs Pitt or Corey Coleman vs Dallas ... what do you all think? PPR league, BTW. Mike Wallace has been getting a ton of targets lately (42 in his last 4 games) and has a better QB throwing to him than Coleman does, who we know little about coming off an injury. Wallace is also going against a subpar Steelers secondary in a game that could be high scoring if Ben plays, which could mean a ton of passing. I think whichever Browns QB plays will look to Pryor before anyone else. I'd go with the safer bet.

This weekend I'm choosing between Mike Wallace vs Pitt or Corey Coleman vs Dallas ... what do you all think? PPR league, BTW. In a PPR league it would be Wallace in a nano second ... even if Smith plays this week .. He's getting a ton of targets in Smiths absensce .. Flacco obviously trusts him and he has become Flacco's Smith now that smith is out ... The rats struggle running the ball and Pitt's secondary sucks ... if Ben plays the match up gets even better ... Coleman could have a big game also .. u know were going to need to score points ... Dallas was OK against the pass .. lost there best CB and one of their safeties ... there decent against the run .. Not as big a no-brained as u would think .. but i would go with Wallace .. Hue for some inexplicable reason has gone away from the run game the last 2 weeks .. that may change this week as Hue may realize the error in his way and he may try and "shorten" the game with a more ground and pound game plan .. If I may ask ..... Who are your other recievers and if u get to play a flex who do u have in that spot now? ..

Hey Diam - my other WR is Jordan Matthews. I'm in a bit of a bind because Deandre Hopkins and Alshon Jeffreys are on their Bye weeks. At Flex I have Jay Ajayi. Available on my bench I have WR Golden Tate and RBs Terrance West and TJ Yeldon.
Thanks for responses guys.

Hey Dave ..
So u pretty much have to play one of those guys ... in a PPR league U can't sit Matthews IMO ... no way would i sit Ajai .. crap .. i didn't see that one coming .. *L* ..
I'd go with Wallace ...
Wallace and Coleman have HUGE UPSIDE this week ... Coleman's floor is lower IMO ..

LMAO! I switched out Wallace for Coleman. Coleman got 7 points and Wallace had 23. No biggy, I'll still win, but its funny because I literally made the change right at the deadline after reading that Smith was starting here.

Rob Kelley vs. MIN or Kapri Bibbs at NO?
Have Carlos Hyde too, but hate game time decisions for later games when I don't have alternatives.
Bibbs probably the better matchup, but Kelley will have more opportunities I think with Jones out.

I went to bed up 108-99.
I woke up down 94-99.
Steven Hauschka scored 14 points, it shows it in his game log. But he's showin 0 in my matchup..
I may stab someone at Yahoo.

Matt Ryan has a bye week and I have no other QB on the roster (Because I thought Ryan already had his bye week), so now do I commit treason and pick up Big Ben for this week's game or do I remain a loyal Browns fan and try to find another QB?

There is no team allegiance in FF.
It's why most people hate it.
My problem is I end up starting people BECAUSE they are playing us, and then everyone else on te team gets all the points..

Big Ben would not be a bad option to pick up against us. The only concern might be pace of game. If the Steelers come out with a lead early, they may just rely on Bell and the running game to bring them home. Still, I think Big Ben has a pretty high floor.

Big Ben is a good option. any other viable options in your league? Winston is ok sometimes throwing up good numbers depending on defense. Bortles vs lions defense maybe another.
