She deleted the emails after getting the subpoena from Congress. This is against the law as it is contempt of congress.

I don't know what other people who have held clearances got out of their document briefing, but I remember mine quite well. Quite simply, the impression I got was 'if in doubt, it's classified'.
Here are excerpts that clearly define what parts of this law she violated.
(d) Whoever, lawfully having possession of, access to, control over, or being entrusted with any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, or note relating to the national defense, or information relating to the national defense which information the possessor has reason to believe could be used to the injury of the United States or to the advantage of any foreign nation, willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it on demand to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it;
She transmitted documents to her lawyer, who didn't have a clearance over public communications. She also failed to turn over all documents.
(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer— Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
Please notice the lack of the word 'intent' in this statue. She had no intent for these documents to be stolen when her server was hacked, but intent does not matter. She was grossly negligent in her handling of classified documents by placing them on an unsecured server. Comey used the words 'extremely careless'. Is there a difference between extremely careless and gross negligence? He also said she had no intent. Intent does not matter.
I know it is hard to follow, you never being a Billionaire Businessman and all but I will give it another try.
Trump was a Businessman. He worked within the system that our government has set up with laws. He got massive breaks like all Businessmen who can hire the Accountants and Lawyers necessary to work within that system.
He did a great job and made himself Billions.
Now that he is successful and beginning to turn things over to the kids, he has decided this system he worked under legally all those years is rigged towards the rich. He sees how the Nation is struggling under the burden of debt. He sees how the Nation is no longer healthy, people are struggling, society unraveling. His kids will soon lose the Nation he was successful working in as it falls apart. He decides something must be done but no one in this corrupt system will lift a finger. They just talk in circles.
He decides to run for President, to at least be on the circuit to get the word out and hopefully open everyone's eyes to what is going on. He will have a platform to speak from.
He is not a politician. He is not a smooth talker. He has no chance of winning the nomination but he will be heard!
Lo and Behold, to even his surprise (I believe) He wins!!!
The American People have heard his message and decided the status quo must change. The people heard Bernie's message and came to him in droves also.
The Clinton Machine of the Status Quo killed Bernie but Trump survived to fight the Machine.
If he wins this with the backing of the American People he will work to fix the system, the taxes, the lopsided trade agreements, the breaks to the rich, the illegal alien invasion.
He already has Wealth. He already has Power. He already has all the things the corrupt and self serving leaders of our government covet.
His concern is for the future health of this once great Nation so his children and our children will have a chance at a good life like he has enjoyed.
