I hate the Cowboys Navy jerseys.
(We are wearing white)
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

IF we win (and I don't think we will) it will be our WRs lighting up their secondary (which isn't that great when they are healthy). I think they can and will do just that. Because I think we can score (and potentially alot) I give us a puncher's chance in this one.
However, this D might give up 50 so I expect us to lose in a shootout.

I have been thinking about this. Now maybe I am just on a bit of a high from a great Indians season, and the Cavaliers being off to a great start ..... but we have been competitive in most of our games ..... only to have a lack of playmakers on offense or defense do us in late. We added a playmaker on defense in Collins. We return a playmaker on offense in Corey Coleman. I think we win this one.

The Dallas O line is very good. I can't see us stopping the run at all and Prescott should have plenty of time to throw. It may be embarrassing but as always I will hope for the best.

Anyone know why Pryor didn't practice on Wednesday?
He is nursing a Hamstring...I'm sure in lieu of possibly aggravating it they chose to have him in some rehab protocol to ready him for the game.
Its not a give him rest...Hue said there is only one player on this team who gets Wednesday off. The rest have to work either on the field or to strengthen injuries. jmho
For the discussion. If the Cowboys decide to RUN RUN RUN we are screwed...if they try to get cute and bring balance to their O...we got a shot.

Thanks on the info on Pryor .. was hoping it was rest and not his Hammie .. he seemed a little "slow" this last game ...
I have both him and Coleman on one of my FF teams and am not sure witch one to play this week ..
Why do u think If Dallas decides to pass alot it gives us a better chance? ... please elaborate Mr. Tabber ...
Gracias sir

I hope your wrong. With Shelton in the middle and now you can add Collins to help contain the outside I like our chances of stopping the run much better than before.

This, courtesy from the Cowboys web page. Final Thoughts: Kessler's Weaknesses; Rushing Effectiveness, More Notes Friday, November 04, 2016 3:25 PM CDT link FRISCO, Texas β Youβre always looking for tendencies and tells when youβre studying an NFL matchup. What does each team do well? Where does each team struggle? How are they going to try to attack each other? What type of game are they going to try to play? It creates a stark contrast when youβre dealing with one of the best teams in the NFL going against one of the worst. Just as easily you can see all the ways the Cowboys succeed, you can see in pretty clear detail how eight different games have gotten away from the Browns. Thatβs what I wanted to try and do in my final notebook this week. Letβs take a look at the best way the Cowboys can hope to break down the Browns. Away we go: Read I donβt believe the coaching staff would admit this in public, but having Cody Kessler start over Josh McCown is a great situation for the defense. With Corey Coleman back in the lineup, I worried about McCown taking advantage of him down the field against a banged up Cowboys secondary. I donβt see Kessler taking those kinds of shots with Coleman or Terrelle Pryor. Kessler starting plays right into the Cowboysβ hands with their approach of rallying to the ball and making tackles on the spot. Something to keep an eye on for the Browns defensively is outside linebacker Carl Nassib. Last week against the New York Jets, Nassib knocked three of Ryan Fitzpatrickβs passes down at the line of scrimmage. For the season, Nassib has four tipped passes to go along with 1.5 sacks. With the way the Cowboys like to work the ball in the middle of the field and to the outside on swings and screens, Nassibβs length and ability could affect how successful those attempts are executed. No team in the NFL has rushed the ball more on first down than the Dallas Cowboys. As a matter of fact, on 62 percent of those snaps they are handing the ball to Ezekiel Elliott or Alfred Morris. In 115 rushing plays on first down, theyβve averaged an impressive 5.4 yards per carry. Only the Dolphins, Bears and Browns have averaged more yards running the ball in those situations. Defensively, the Cowboys have only allowed one touchdown run or pass of 20-plus yards. On the flip side, the Browns have allowed 10 -- which is the worst in the league. To make matters worse, opponents have had 41 plays covering 20-plus yards against the Browns through eight games this season. Cleveland Browns receiver Corey Coleman was rated as the second-best wide receiver on the Cowboysβ 2016 draft board. Only the Washington Redskinsβ Josh Doctson was rated higher. The Cowboys had both Doctson and Coleman in the second round. The Browns can play with any opponent offensively in the first half, but defensively thatβs not the case. They have been outscored 115-51 in the second half of their games. The third quarter has been especially poor -- where opponents have scored 61 points. Through eight games, the Browns have given up 19 touchdowns through the air and 29 total -- which is awful. Just in case you wanted to know, the Browns passed on Dak Prescott eight times in the draft before he was selected by the Cowboys. Credit to the great Gil Brandt for that . Gil Brandt ✔@Gil_Brandt Browns passed on Dak Prescott 8x in draft. Last time they had QB with passer rating as high as Prescottβs 99.6 was Milt Plum in 1960 (110.4) 4:44 PM - 2 Nov 2016

Well....the Cubs won so hell is already frozen over. So...I guess the odds of the Browns winning is... not until hell is on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.

Of course the Browns 'can' win but its not very likely.
They need to play their best game of the season.
I think a better question is how can the Browns win?

Can the Browns win? Not a chance.
This is a mismatch if I ever saw one. The boys are top 3 and playing great fundamental football and can run it down teams throats.
I'm shocked that Vegas is only giving the Browns 7 (last time I checked). Of course that would mean it would be around 13.5 in Dallas. A win for the Browns would be even coming close to covering that spread, but it won't happen. Oh and keep Zeke under 175 yards.
Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

The formula I would use:
Don't get beat by Zeke, easy enough to say right?
Commit to stopping the run.
How?
Play stout against the run. Build a 7-8 man box. Go big with personnel. Meder-Shelton-Wright 34 DL Cam Johnson over Schobert at OLB.
But, what about the Dez? Double him. Do not let him get vertical. Press him at the line, with Safety help, and get him frustrated.
The other secondary players are gonna have to earn their keep because I would play them a lot of man-to-man. but, I'm gonna help them with blitz pressure.
Blitz, Dak. No rookie likes to get blitz. And I would aim to speed up Dak's decision making process.
Our secondary isn't that great, and Dallas has a good OL. For me the best way to cover downfield is to make sure the QB doesn't have time to throw downfield. And to me that means bringing more people.
..FS(double Dez)...SS(replace blitzing LB/cover TE/RB) ...................ILB-ILB (1 blitz/1 coverage) X.............OLB-DE-NT-DE-OLB (man to man or blitz).........X

Dallas has to play their worst game ever and the Browns have to play 2 I mean TWO meaning BOTH halves, ya know FIRST HALF then the SECOND HALF to even have a remote shot.

Offense.
Gotta run the ball. Don't throw interceptions. Take what the defense gives, Dallas plays a lot of soft zone there will be open receivers underneath all game.
Get, Coleman involved. Get the RBs involved.

I am totally expecting we get horrible burned in this one. But, I hope we upset them.
I am more excited to see Corey back out and Jaime Collins (who prob wont play too many snaps but, I am eager to see him out there).

I think Dallas would exploit that philosophy be using Beasley and Whiten on 3-step drops and using Williams over the top.

Get, Coleman involved. Get the RBs involved. I think teams take away our running game and shorten the field against our passing game. It's been pretty obvious. So, let's see if Cody can throw the deep outs, the intermediates [18-22 yds] between the hashes, and the long ball down the sidelines. We are 0 and 8. Let's see what the kid really has.

I think we'll keep it close to be honest. They are without two DBs and this could be a trap game
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I agree teams usually build an 8 man box to stifle the run game. But the only defense that really shut it down was the Pats.
And the Cowboys typically sit back in soft zones they've played more Cover 3 then Cover 1 in their 8 man fronts.
Cowboys don't have much of a pass rush. If that trend holds up Cody should have time to complete intermediate passes like deep comebacks that Hue likes off of playaction. I dont seem to recall many deep outs, but could be mistaken.
Other intetmediate/deep throws that ive seen open in Hues passing game are the seam routes which are open against cover 2 and 3 zones and the sideline fade which our receivers should be 'win' sometimes against press man.
Last week in the 2nd half i wish Kessler was available because his high efficiency decision making and accuracy would have made the difference in sustaining offense and Drago could not/did not (rust?)

The Titans stuffed are running game, too.
I think it's smart to go w/Kessler, but I believe that McCown would give us a much better chance to win this game because he makes throws that Kessler hasn't made yet. I also think the playbook is more open w/McCown than w/Kessler.

Why do u think If Dallas decides to pass alot it gives us a better chance? ... please elaborate Mr. Tabber ...
Cause they stretch the field horizontally like no other in the run game. We have had issues with the edge. Dak adds to the run game with read options.
If they try to pass for balance I think that is where Dak could make his mistakes. He had his worse game last week in passing. We can get a turnover...Of course we could get destroyed in the air as well just saying that its the only chance I see. If they run...it will wear us down so that the 4th qtr will be theirs. I think Dallas is playing better than other teams other than one or two. Their OL is great. I think our chances to win are slim to none. Again maybe one of the few ways we can is if they try passing cause the rookie has the air game catching up to him and starting to make mistakes.
jmho keep in mind I watch them a lot due to my sons favorite team.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

Yes, forgot about the Titans D.
Last week I thought that Kessler would have been more productive then Drago in the second half. I thought his inaccuracy and decision making/turn overs stalled 3 critical 2nd half drives.
Maybe it was rust, but I think that's who Drago is. Tough guy, smart guy with plenty of velocity...but spotty decision maker in terms of efficiency and inconsistent in terms of long ball accuracy.

Fun factoid of the day ... only one team that has played the Cowboys more than 12 times in their storied history has a winning record against them. Your Cleveland Browns are 17-13 all-time vs Dallas. http://www.footballdb.com/teams/nfl/dallas-cowboys/opponentsUnfortunately, you'd need to be in your 50's to remember most of the wins. (Ravens, Broncos, and Raiders also have winning record vs Cowboys, but only in a combined 27 games, all-time.) You might win a beer with that, in which case, you owe me one.
