We look horrible right now. Easy shots not falling and just sloppy offense.

kyrie might have had his worst game as a pro last night. They locked him down and he just made mistake after mistake.. luckily we have a guy named Lebron who will bail you out and pick you up. That and some clutch shooting by Frye and Smith, and great defense by smith on the final possession. I think Brown isn't get the most out of that team offensively, they are decent defensively but they have some talent, i just don't think he knows what to do...you can only call yourself rebuilding for so long before it becomes a point its not a talent issue anymore. Even when they had simmons healthy they weren't winning. Embiid is one of the best bigs I have watched in years, he's going to be a superstar. He and Okafor might be the best 2 bigs on any team right now..and they have Noel. I wonder if some point it's going to create a log jam. But I think Embiid could play the 4 just fine. His footwork in the paint is amazing for a rookie and he has range out to the three point line. Really impressed with him. Big test coming up against ATL

Simmons hasn't played in any of their regular season games and Noel has been out, too. They have a lot of talent, but need a PG. Not sure why they let Ish get away?

they do have quite a bit of talent, Simmons coming back should help them with PG, but they really need someone now..Someone like Cole could help them

Almost had that one. Kevin with a great And-1 to get it within 2.

That Bazemore 3 was kinda clutch and ballsy with 8 seconds left.

Nice basketball post. rolleyes

I thought the Cavs moved the ball well at times, but they just missed a lot of open shots. Dunleavy's shot looks pretty bad. It's as if he has lost is confidence.

Bazemore hit big shots throughout the game. Can't leave him open once he gets it going.

TT doesn't seem to be playing w/the same intensity and energy as he did in the past. I'm not so sure his girlfriend is a good thing for his career.

TT looks like he hasn't done a single thing over the summer..No growth in any phase of the game..trying to act like a baller but doesn't have baller skills lol, he looks worse than ever has...can't be coincidence, Where a Kardashian is failure happens. Kyrie back to playing ME ME ME ball and he's getting destroyed by the opposing PG's.. The biggest reason we lost was our starting SG went 2-13...got to have production there to make everything work. We still almost came back and won..not a big deal. I'd like to see Lue play with rotations more, now that we lost the first one, cut back on Kyrie and Lebrons minutes..zero sense to play them more than 32-33 this early. I do like what i'm seeing out of love and frye, defensively we just aren't getting the effort, I get a sense that they are just coasting and doing just enough to win, when that happens they'll lose games like this where they get surprise. I think if we see ATL in the playoffs I'd have frye start over TT, TT isn't going to do anything with dwight inside, best to put frye out there and pull him away from basket...I really wish TT we get a mid range jumper, he could be so effective, he's actually got a decent first step for a big, but they know he's not going to shoot. Its the one piece to his game I think could launch him to another level

As it stands, the entire central division would be in the playoffs. Charlotte is off to a hot start, but is awful shooting 3's. They will crash. Clippers look really good.

The Knicks could barely get by a horrible Nets squad.

I'm not sure they will even make the playoffs.

Also, I think Boston trading for Lopez would be good for Brooklyn and Boston.

I know, but does anyone actually believe the Cavs and Warriors won't be in their conference finals? The 2nd team in the west is between LA and San Antonio. Not going out on a limb with that. In the East, I think D12 changes things for Atlanta and helps them a LOT more than Horford did. However, I can see the Cavs treating them like they did Detroit last year. I feel Horford was overrated and soft.

No. The Cavs players are bored right now. When's the next challenging game, Christmas against the Warriors? There's not a team in the East that can truly challenge them.

Wake me up when the Finals start.

I guess I meant that a lot can happen between now and then. Steph Curry could mess up his ankle, they lose a few too many game, get the 2 or 3 seed and get cleaned out by the Clips or Spurs. The Spurs could make a big trade and put them over the top. Even a major Lebron injury would wipe us out of the picture pretty easily (washing my mouth out with soap now).

Maybe we could package him with Lindor and get rid of some of the dead weight around here.

To be fair, if we have something to criticize, it's the fact that this is the 2nd game that TT gave us a whopping 2 points last night.

2 points, 7 rebounds on 23 minutes. The kardashian curse is real.

A Tom Thibodeau team is 6th offensively and 23rd defensively. They have a garbage record and 3 20+ point scorers.

I dont know if any of you keep up on the charge but I super excited for my friend, Chris Evans making the roster.

He left us tickets for the home opener last night and didnt disappoint with 20 points, and three asssits, and keyed a run that came up just short of a 19 point down comeback.

Yes I am biased but I think Chris has a shot at getting a shot in Cleveland eventually. 6' 8" with incredible athleticism. Excellent handles and court vision, can get to the rim pretty much at will.

I don't think I will ever NOT be impressed by Lebrons basketball IQ. Obviously he's played this game most of his life. However, it's just nuts how he know what opponents are going to do before they do it.

Thanks Swish, he's a great kid. I was lucky enough to be in my first season of interning at Kent St for his senior year. Hard worker , I worked FT at Kent too, and Chris would be standing there waiting for me at 4 am when I got into work at The MAC Center and unlocked the gyms. He was really trying to work on his post game and I spent most of my time working with the bigs. He would get dresssed and set the gym up while I got the building up and going, then we would do an hour or so post workout. Then he would go shower and go back to sleep in the player lounge before he went to class, and I woud go put the rest of my eight hours in as a maintenance guy, then go to class, then go to practice or shootaround and film if we had a game that night. There was game days where I left for work at 345 am , and didnt come home until ten at night .

I miss those days , it wore me down, but damn it was fun, especially traveling to road games.

the Lakers are starting to build something IMO. they have young talent and are well coached thus far. still a 500 team, but much improved

They have some talent. The Kobe distraction was an issue last year.
