They weren't even playing prevent.
They're playing the same coverage all game and those comeback routes are gonna be open until they switch from something other then Cover 1 and Cover 3 with some disguises

What part of a complete rebuild is confusing you guys? COMPLETE rebuild. That is the plan. The took it down to the studs. Of COURSE, we suck. That is part of the plan. We have a ton of picks next draft too. So we will be even younger next year, we will be playing even more rookies next year.
Would you rather we buy a lot of overpriced FA's be the oldest team in the league and win 5 or 6 games? Here's the issue with doing a full rebuild: If the foundation/talent evaluation isn't solid, all you end up doing is tearing the entire thing down and starting from the ground up again.

btw Kessler looks like an amazing back up QB. What a great 3rd round pick. He's probably a top 35 QB in the league.

Cowboys are playing cat and mouse with their coverage disguises.
Hue/Cody seem to be intent on catching them in cover-1 man and hitting a long sideline pass
but they're attempting that instead of taking the comebacks and drags routes that are there for the taking

I'd like to see him do something to cause a win. Not play solid, but actually play some heroics. It's hard though when you have a terrible OC and you're always playing from behind.

I do not like QBs who cant throw long. Depends. Weeden could throw long. I just want someone to who can just play the position, no matter what package it comes in. The somewhat ironic thing is I think Cody is showing some arm today but he is so inaccurate on deep throws. It's not Quinn bad but it's not much better.
