We can't define our laws based on religious conjecture. Such ideas keep us from Sharia Law, Polygamy becoming legal, the right to allow same-sex individuals marriage, etc.

We can't roll back years of social progress because a religious group believes different. We can't base our proof off of a holy text, and a holy text that lacks evidence for tales in it.

Government should be governed by reasons based in facts. Not by opinions held without factual merit. Science is good.

This looks like a fake story. I don't see that tweet on the Wikileaks account. Also, while I can accept that Wikileaks has mainly been a thorn in the side to Clinton, the Democratic party, and the media this election season, the above tweet sounds completely out of place and not like anything I've ever heard from Assange or Wikileaks.

Arch, you probably won't believe me, but I'm not spiteful. If the worst case scenario happens and Reps lose everything (except the house) the Left needs to listen and work with people such as yourself. If Dems control everything, they need to agree that their are some flaws in how they do things. The Left could completely crush conservatism in the scenario I mentioned, but they shouldn't. They need to reach middle ground.

I feel as if Dems completely sold their souls this election. The only way they will gain it back is by showing the Right that what the Left believes in, works slowly and with compassion and empathy.

I feel that after 2012, the Left cornered the Right to the point where they had no other choice but to turn to a guy like Trump.
