If Black on Black crime continues as it is, we will see to it the law abiding among you are protected while your criminal element is taken off the street. We will care more about the well being of the victims of violence than the rights of the violent.
I never thought I would say this, but you might be the only person I would not like to meet. I'm actually appalled if you are considering me to be part of this "we." So you support Black on Black crime, where the victims are trying to be productive citizens but live in fear of their streets and are forced to lock themselves in their homes after dark in fear of their lives. Well I don't. We owe it to the good people to protect their lives and property against the bad people. We are about saving lives.

1. Is he really gonna make Muslims register? 2. Is he gonna let Russia do whatever the hell they want? 3. His economic plan is gonna add 10 trillion dollars to the deficit. So......are we all good with that? 4. Will he completely defund planned parenthood? Brought to you by the same chicken littles that were screaming that Hillary was going to kill Trump. It wouldn't even be close. Didn't you learn anything last night bro?

Still find it funny people place such faith in politicians. I'm under no illusion the system currently in place will actually solve problems. I remember years ago on the old board people arguing about how great the country would be once the Republicans regain control of the house and senate. Yet as usual, they changed nothing. While I like the idea of someone who is not a career politician being in charge, I will approach this like I do most things, cautious optimism.

Brought to you by the same chicken littles that were screaming that Hillary was going to kill Trump.
According to many right wing chicken littles....Hillary was fully capable of doing just that.

So those high ass tariffs. Is that happening? No, and the wall won't either. Watch heads explode when the ACA is repealed and people with pre existing conditions can't get coverage again. When people get their SS cut, and their Medicare is peeled back that'll be a wake up call for those elderly Florida voters. Oh and trickle down economics 2.0 here we come. America is confirming my choice not to have children was the wisest choice in my life.

How will Trump reach out to those who truly saw him as everything they hated? We will see. He only got elected yesterday. I however would not worry about it if it was me. It is you who will adjust your attitude in time.

In another thread I actually congratulated Trump supporters for their victory. I didn't have a horse in this race but most Trump supporters aren't acting like an ass.

My mirror is fine. I'm supporting our new president because he is our president and our nation depends on him doing a good job and the democratic process has spoken. That's what grown ups do. I wouldn't have been any happier had Hillary won.
I'm not going around acting like an ass gloating.

So, while the market was falling, some stocks survived, and actually grew.
Private prisons, specifically corrections corporation of America, shot up 58%.
Yea, nothing to worry about at all.

I'm not going around acting like an ass gloating. Exactly. I don't see how anyone can actually gloat over a victory for either side. It's like going to a 49'ers board and talking trash to them if we wind up with a better record than them at seasons end. Big deal. The real work starts now. Will Trump become the guy people feared or the guy that can actually make some changes in Washington?

Anyways,
So I have a question for conservatives.
What's going to be the direction of the country with regards to what the GOP wants and what Trump wants.
Their vision for the country, specifically Paul Ryan, doesn't line up.
Also, Trump trashed a whole bunch of them during the election.
What's his chances on most of his policies actually passing through the house and senate with the number of congressmen who defected from his campaign?

He will do something that you have never experienced since "no discussion" Obama took office, He will "negotiate" to get as much as he can get while giving some things to the other side. Works well in Business and Politics.

That's probably the best thing the country has going for it. Trump isn't going to build a wall, kick out all Muslims and immigrants and start World War 3 with whoever he wants. This isn't nazi Germany. Our country has a system of checks and balances, and he still has to get anything he wants to do through congress. The fact that they aren't lock-and-step in line with what he might want to do means any of those doomsday scenarios are out the window. He's going to have to find compromises with both Democrats and Republicans if he wants to get anything done.
