CNN Van Jones just showed the true colors of the Liberal Side tonight(And drew praise on Twitter for his racist statements from lots of big celebs and others) “People have talked about a miracle ― I’m hearing about a nightmare,”“It’s hard to be a parent tonight for a lot of us. You tell your kids, ‘Don’t be a bully.’ You tell your kids, ‘Don’t be a bigot.’ You tell your kids, ‘Do your homework and be prepared.’ Then you have this outcome, and you have people putting children to bed tonight and they’re afraid of breakfast.
“They’re afraid of, ‘How do I explain this to my children?’ I have Muslim friends who are texting me tonight saying, ‘Should I leave the country?’ I have families of immigrants that are terrified tonight.”
Now we will get to the meat and potatoes of his crying
“This was a whitelash against a changing country,” “It was a whitelash against a black president in part. And that’s the part where the pain comes. And Donald Trump has a responsibility tonight to come out and assure people that he is going to be the president of all the people he insulted and offended and brushed aside.

So there you have it folks....Its whitelash, the evil white people didn;t elect Hillary so were all racist evil people. This is the most racist statement ever amde on national TV by anyone, had a White person said anything remtely close to this on live Tv and he wouldn't have a job right now....but its ok to be racist...as long as your racist against whites...hell CNN will hire you if you are... its hypocrisy at its finest...where is Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and all the other NAACP Black Lives Matter people at? I thought they wanted to get rid of racism.....it appears racism is alive and well they can even say it on national Tv with no repercussions....don't dare any white, latino or anyone else dare say something like that...they would already be out of a job...the hypocrisy....

This was by no means a 'whitelash'. This is by all means a response to a Boehner like representation that didn't fight for it's constituents with anything other than symbolic votes against Obamacare and other hollow puffery.

I'm not a Trump fan. I like the idea of a Trump, a political "outsider" to come in and shake things up. We have a government, a bureaucracy that is too good for its own britches. But I don't care for the man.
That being said, I just love the reactions out of the media/Hollywood self righteous we know what's best for America crowd.
If Hillary was that good, why couldn't she expose Donald to the very people that he got support from. Look at Michigan, look at blue collar traditional types casting ballots for Trump.
I believe they called it the "Budwieser" crowd and the "Starbucks" crowd. The non-college educated versus the college educated....
The media is just as to blame for the divisiveness of America as the politicians themselves. They feed from the same trough.

Not a Trump fan at all, but my Facebook feed has been making me shake my head all morning from all the irony. People have been saying all along that Trump is pushing his campaign based on only "fear and hate", yet now that he's won, everyone is acting like he's going to abolish women's voting rights and deport any 1st or 2nd generation immigrant ... and it's all those stupid, misogynistic, white-peoples' fault.

CNN exit polls show that Trump got a higher % of the Hispanic (29-27%) and Black votes (7-8%) than Romney did, and won the same % of the youth vote as Romney did. I just heard that 13% of Black men voted for Trump. I think that many people who are worried about the fact that they are losing jobs all across the board came to Trump.
The Clinton campaign spoke of having such great Hispanic turnout, but she won less of the Hispanic vote than Obama did in 2012, (71-65%) the Black vote, (88-93%) and the young vote. (54-60%)
I also think that unrestrained free trade took a hit last night. So did Obamacare, and the way we have conducted ourselves in the world. I think that the Obama foreign policy was repudiated last night, and that fell on Clinton as well, given her part in some of that foreign policy, and the fact that she supported much of what happened after she left. I think that the Iran deal hurt her. I think that her desire for completely open borders hurt her with people worried about their jobs, or about trying to find a job.
Just a few things that jump out to me.

Like I mentioned in another thread, I really don't think this is about what "Trump brings to the table", it's much more, "What we didn't want Hillary to bring to the table." Yes, there are people who are 100% behind Trump. Yes there are those that wanted a change in direction and saw Trump as something of an outsider. But I think for a lot of people, it was about seeing those wiki links emails and realizing, "For all the bad things Trump SAYS he will do, Hillary has actually DONE a lot of bad things." People shouldn't be upset that Trump won, people should be upset that a third party didn't win in a landslide.

I was in pretty much shock last night as Lorain County in Ohio voted in Trump's favor. The first time the county went Republican since 1984. 32 years. In the other races they still voted in the standard Democrats. Trump was voted in by Democrats.
Trump is not liked much by the old Republican guard and he was a Democrat before he is whatever he is now. He basically blew up the Democrat despised Republican party before he won the job. The far left hi-jacked the Democratic party decades ago.
We might have just witnessed the birth of a third party where Dems and Reps can co-exist. Life between Trump and the House isn't going to be warm and fluzzy and both old parties might be surprised by this guy.
Only time will tell.
