--Hue had no choice but to bench Kessler. He sucked the life out of the offense and defense by refusing to pass the ball to open receivers down the field. Receivers were growing tired of it. The defense was growing tired of it.
--That sucks because McCown sucks.
--Hue shouldn't be fired but no professional coach should go winless. That's just awful.
--0-16 is happening. I'm actually hoping it does. This franchise is fascinating. Should have never come back.

Jimmy Haslam deserves 0-16 to be attached to his name.

I mentioned it in the GDT. Jimmy wants this team to suck to decrease fan support. He'll then have a reason to move the team and get more $$$$.

We're going QB 1st overall.
We have no choice.

What was the score when Kessler was pulled? What was the scoring with McCown in the game?
Not a good move. That doesn't even take into account the bogus 15 yard penalty to put Baltimore in FG range right before the half.
Kessler isn't great by any means but he is sure the best Qb on our roster

Sashi looked nervous and Depodesta looked like he could care less. I'm sure he's heading back to La Jolla after the game.

sadly, there's no qb worth it .... not even close
my prediction: hue benched kessler to set up an RG3 return after 10 days off
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

We have no choice. So out of desperation we are going to take a Qb with 2nd/3rd round talent with the #1 overall?

Well Josh sure looked better the Cody uh ? At least he can throw a deep interception.. LMAO . No OL at all . Our Pro-bowl LT sucked as well. The left guard may as well just fall down every snap and hopes someone trips over him. Defense is a joke.. Time to fire Horton I hate to say.. Hue needs to put his foot up someones rear tonight and make a statement. This team is no longer even watchable.

We're going QB 1st overall.
We have no choice. HELL NO. There are other ways to build a team. Don't keep tossing rookie QBs into this mess.

Kessler is not the best QB on the roster.
He's regressed nearly every game.
He was benched. That about sums it up.

Like just about every game this year...we just fade away for no good reason...
Game 9 and we have no idea who our QB this year should be and who it will be next week...
Well, it really can't be worse so there is that!

So are you arguing we should draft o-line help then? I doubt 6 quarterbacks are just magically frail. We have zero qb's to build around on the roster. Look at this game. Our QB's have time to throw. They ain't cutting it. Can't throw deep. Can't do much of anything. We need somebody with some freaking talent man. Somebody that can force the defense to take 8 out the box. We tried the late first, late round, other teams garbage way. Time to go get the best QB in the top of the draft.

Not enough arm, rish. Kessler has a weak arm by NFL standards I actually think his arm is fine, but he's afraid to play the position. He's scared. This was one thing I liked about Manziel. He wasn't going to be afraid. Too bad he was a coke head.

Stop it.
There is. Watson is way better than Wentz.
And half the board wanted him 2nd overall.

this team's bad ... and in the 2nd halves just pathetic

McCown is way better than Kessler and McCown is really, really, really bad.
When you refuse to make the play called as the QB, the coach has no choice but to bench you.
I fully expect Hue to destroy Kessler in his post game presser. He's going to throw the kid under the bus. And he should, IMO. Throw the damn ball. It's not that hard.

So we can all agree that RGIII is starting the next game, right?
If not him, then Kevin Hogan. No point in playing Kessler or McCown ever again.

Yes, I want to draft a QB with an arm, who can move around in the pocket and take off when nothing is there.
Silly me.

Could it be that Hue pulled the trigger on Cody to show him he will be benched for not making the throws? Therefore, he starts Cody next week and in Cody's head, he may as well make the throws anyway and not worry about the picks..true players would never allow themselves to be benched for not at least attempting to make plays...maybe Cody wakes up?

0-16 is firmly in our grasp. We have the perfect storm of horrible defense and literally no QB who can make a single play.
Unless a team is either destroyed by injuries or flat out doesn't show up, no chance in hell of winning a game.
you had a good run Hank.
